2 VINTAGE PAULDING PORCELAIN ART DECO BATHROOM WALL ELECTRIC LIGHT SCONCES
Here are 2 great 1930's art Deco porcelain wall sconce lights from Paulding. You will see in the pictures that they are in great condition. I have not tried to clean them and appear to be fully functional. The fastening screw is included and the pull chain porcelain end is also still intact. Very hard to find everything together. These also have the outlet on the bottom behind the pull chain. These can be wired 250v 10amp or 125v 15 amp. I have had some questions about the wiring so I have included 2 more pictures. Very nice art deco. Porcelain, floral design, double ceiling light fixture with a pull switch. Measures 10 1/2 inches long, and 6 1/2 inches wide at widest point.Drops down 3 1/2 inches from ceiling! Has the old original 1930s porcelain light sockets and everything is in pretty well excellant condition. Paint is nice and bright, no chips and even the wiring looks good. Questions are welcome! 1920's Art Deco porcelain wall light sconce with underglaze floral decoration
Art deco porcelain wall sconce with floral decorations. This fixture was mounted in the hallway in the third floor of our old house built in 1925. The third floor had been unused for decades and I believe this was original to the 1925 construction. Piece is in very good used condition and is being sold as-is. There are some little discolored scuff marks. Probably from removing from the wall, I think TSP takes those off. The end of the little pull is painted wood and it's dirty and chipped a little. You can feel the painted floral pattern as though it were actually painted under the glaze and it'sin very good condition. I can't see any wires inside the socket, but this should certainly be rewired for use. The part that mounts on the wall measures 6&5/8 inches tall and 3&1/2" across at the widest. Piece projects about ... more4&1/8 inches from the wall. Overall piece is in excellent condition. But take a good look at the photos as piece is being sold as-is.

These 2 Paulding sconces came out of a bathroom in a old Victorian house being remodeled and had layers and layers of paint on them. I cleaned them in off the best I could. No chemicals were used. No cracks breaks or repairs. A few very tiny flea bites along the edges. Needs re-wiring. The chains are snapped off inside. Only a little shows as seen in the pictures. There were a lot of these fantastic pieces of hardware being tossed into the dumpsters. There was so much paint on everything no one knew. Unfortunate I came along too late to retrieve some hardware. I also have a beautiful ornate door knob and plate. And Eagle Claw window latches in other auctions if interested. What you see in the pictures is what you get. It doesn't show up at all and doesn't effet the use of the item at all but it is there. I have cleaned up the shades and the outside of the outlet but the inside of the wall mount is dirty. Vintage 1920s art deco porcelain light wall sconce black retro
Up for grabs is an Art Deco porcelain wall sconce. It is black in color. In most of the pictures it appears to be dark blue, but it has a very high gloss glaze on it that makes it hard to get good pictures of it. It has a sheer gold design of sea birds and sea grass with a flower on it and has the same sheer good as an outline as well as accenting the part where the actual light goes. The design has been done with an underglaze and is protected by the high gloss over glaze. I found this out in my barn and it was so dirty I didn't realize it had the design. I cleaned it up a bit but not to much. The white specks on it are paint and do come off with a little work. There were alot more, so they come off without damaging the fixture. We have the glaze to thank for that: As an extra bonus you can see what color the previous owner's house ... morewas painted! There is a very pretty screw on flower in the center. Not sure what it is made of. Perhaps pewter? I have left the original wiring intact for reference. But please don't try to use it. Its just there to make rewiring easier. On one corner there is a place where I believe the glaze separated during firing. Doesn't appear to be chipped and once hung will not be seen. The more I look at this the more I appreciate it. It is very pretty and I couldn't find anything like it online. Most appear to be white fixtures. I would hang it in my home but I just do not have a place for it.

The previous owner said that this was removed from a local hotel- The Fort Cumberland. In Cumberland, MD. She owned the hotel at one time. 4 1/2" wide x 8 1/4" tall x 4 1/2" deep. Wiring looks good. Set of 3 Antique Vintage Art Deco Porcelain Bathroom Wall Light Fixtures
Here is a set of three different art deco porcelain light fixtures. All are in nice shape with no cracks or chips in the porcelain. Two have the existing wiring with pull chains. One is just the porcelain piece itself. I have wiped down the front of them to give a better idea of what they look like. But have left the backs as they were. Pieces measure between 5 1/2" and 6 1/4" in height. The two on the right are white. The one on the left is off white/cream/almond with a pale pink/green floral design(a bit of brown for the stems) I can send any additional photos that you request. Please ask any questions.

Elegant Antique Porcelain Electric Light Wall Sconce, Floral Design, Art Deco
This very elegant antique electric light sconce is made of porcelain with an angular Art Deco shape and a subtle floral pattern. I don't see any manufacturer identification on it. But if it's a Porcelier, it might have come with a paper label that's fallen off. To give you an idea of dimensions. It is about 5¾" tall, 4" wide, and about 4" deep. Although the wiring looks old, we have hooked it up to test it, and it does work, porcelain pull switch and all. The bulb socket feels a little loose and wobbly, though, as if maybe it started out in life with a cardboard sleeve as a shim. Also, we haven't tested the built-in two-pin socket, and we don't have any of the hardware to attach it to the wall. Other than that it has some overpaint around the edges but otherwise looks ready to go. We aren't including ... moreany bulbs with it because they don't travel well. ART DECO - CERAMIC WALL LAMP LIGHT FIXTURE CHANDELIER SCONCE - PORCELAIN
Up for auction is a very nice porcelain single-light wall sconce with a pull chain on/off socket and a convenience outlet for a non-polarized plug. It's possible this may have had a slip or slipper shade also as the opening around the Edison socket looks like it would be able to accommodate one. Though I can't be certain there ever was a shade. This fixture was likely made between the 1920's to the 1930's, but I'm unsure of the exact age. This fixture is made of porcelain. As is the pull chain pull or fob. It's decorated with gold highlights and features two decal roses on either side. The gold is in excellent condition, as are the roses. I do see a few very minor areas to the decal where there is some light wear but it's not detracting from the fixture. This fixture is about 6" tall or high and 4.75" ... morewide. The diameter of the opening around the socket is 1.75" I don't find any cracks or chips or breaks. The wiring looks serviceable but I would recommend having it examined by a professional prior to using. The socket is porcelain also though I can't determine the maker. All in all this is a wonderful fixture in great antique or vintage condition. I don't know the maker but it's very much like the Porcelier pieces I have on ebay right now. These are on par with makers during the Art Deco/ Art Moderne periods like Virden. Moe Bridges, Lincoln, Miller, Paramount, Beller, General Electric and other high quality companies. This piece is likely close to 80- 90 years old and displays beautifully! I've tried to describe everything to the best of my ability but p lease look at all the photos as they are the best description. This will be well-packed for safe arrival to your home. Porcelier Porcelain Art Deco Bath Wall Light Fixture Sconce Bathroom McGill Vtg. Offered is a vintage Art Deco style porcelain wall mount light fixture or sconce. As pictured. A style typically found in 1920's/ 1940's era hallways and bathrooms. The piece has a white high gloss porcelain body with fired on platinum trim and measures about 7" H x 4-5/8" W and extends from wall about 4" It has a genuine McGill-Levolier toggle switch that can also operate as a pull switch. Item comes with original mounting stud/bolt and wall flange(see photos) Body has auxiliary appliance provision(slots) at bottom. But is not wired for same. No shade is included. Fixture body is in nice shape. No chips; the platinum trim shows wear and light switch works properly(switch has been tested with an ohm meter and lubricated) Power wires to ... morethe switch will need replacement(one screw on each wire) Metal parts are bright. No rust or corrosion. This very attractive vintage and authentic retro piece displays well. Probably not truly rare, but certainly qualified as scarce in this very decent condition.
