This amazing swag lamp ... moreis from the 1960s or early 1970s. It has six lights and is loaded with Strass Swarovski 30% lead crystal jewel beads. I recently purchased this hanging lamp along with a matching table lamp from the same estate. The table lamp had a copyright date of 1966. This particular lamp was obviously stored away for most of its life, since it still looks like new, and is in excellent condition. The fixture is made with a combination of thick brass-plated heavy metal casting. Some solid brass, and lots of crystals. The main body of the fixture is a thick metal casting and has five lights hanging from the edge, and one that hangs from the center, which is the lowest hanging light on the fixture. The light is controlled with a rotary switch on the underside of the main body of the fixture. The center light can be turned on or off, independently from the others, and is perfect for a mood light or night light. The lamp has a 15 foot long chain with a 20 foot cord with a plug on the end, and is meant to hang by the chain from a hook(not included) and then plugged into a wall outlet. The appropriate decorative hook for hanging should be able to hold at least 15 pounds, which is the total weight of the light fixture, and have the correct anchor system for your ceiling type. The fixture measures 33 inches tall from the top of the cast loop to the bottom of the lowest finial. The maximum width is about 13 inches. This takes six short. Candelabra base light bulbs, and is being shipped with new 15 watt ceiling fan bulbs that I used when I took the pictures. Since the fixture has been stored away for most of its life, very minimal cleaning was needed, but I did that for you. When I found it, about 40% of the crystals were missing, but I was able to locate some of the same size with a very similar cut and of the same high quality. ANTIQUE 1920s FRENCH SPANISH REVIVAL SCROLLED IRON GILT BRASS 8 ARM CHANDELIER

The bottom of the fixture. Including the arms, is accented with gilded brass acanthus leaves. The large bobeches repeat this feature. The chandelier has double, twist down rods which are separated by an open ring accent. The original brass canopy is present and is also decorative with the twist pattern repeated at the top. The chandelier is simply striking. IT IS EXCEPTIONALLY heavy. It is not marked but it is of the finest quality. It is in good antique condition with the expected aging patina and a few"age spots" on the brass. It appears as if someone was in the process of rewiring but did not complete the task. The sockets ... moreall have new wire but it has not been extended into the down rod for ceiling attachment. This will need to be completed before the fixture can be hung. It is designed for standard size(60w) bulbs. The chandelier is large and measures 31" tall to the ceiling. It is 24" in diameter. It weighs approximately 40lbs. Due to the size. The large outer ring and three upper concentric rings are decorated with acanthus leaf glass mounts. There are six missing acanthus leaves, and may be a few missing crystal chains, but we will be happy source and install any needed crystals prior to shipment. 2 antique vintage matching pair of lanterns chandeliers made in Spain mid century brass gilt gold tone. One of the glass panes/panels in one lantern is missing- see picture#3 and picture#6.
