Which is exactly adapted to the it's shape. Additionally each of of the three wings is equipped with one bulb socket, so the lamp becomes equally illuminated. The fixture is most likely made out of bronze cast and is covered by patina. Offered here is a unique bronze figural chandelier with original period carved alabaster shades. This period antique piece is in EXCELLENT condition. With only minimal chipping on the alabaster shades, and a light patina on the bronze frame. The figural caryatid busts are done extraordinarily well, with clear attention to detail by the original manufacturer. This chandelier was most likely produced in Chicago around the 1930's, while the shades appear to be Italian. This chandelier measures 41" tall by 21" wide. Antique Alabaster (or Marble) Hanging Lamp Chandelier Unique Retro
This is most likely made out of Alabaster because the stone is a little softer than Marble. I believe it is from Europe and from the early 1900's. The lamp has been very skillfully upgraded with an LED Flood Light Bulb with 9 Watts. This is the very best way to show off the incredible color of the stone. When lit. It looks like the stone is on fire. The stone measures 16 inches in diameter and around 5 inches high. From the ceiling to the bottom of the lamp measures approx 41 inches. Adjustments can be made to level the stone part of the lamp and also raise and lower the light bulb. Look at the photos. No, you are not looking at a photograph of the sun, it is the actual photo of the lamp when lit up. It is truly an amazing and unique piece. One of 2 Lightolier modern design pendant ceiling fixtures. Inverted alabaster dome supported by 3 brass chains. Brass fixture mounts flush to ceiling. Takes two 13 watt twin tube flourescent bulbs. Measures 17 1/2" diameter by 7" from ceiling. Very good condition with no chips or cracks. A few light scratches on dome. I have a pair of matching chandeliers available.
