Vintage Antique Brass 2 Arm Pan Chandelier Light Fixture Weber Switch
We have up for auction today a neat Old Light Fixture. The cap is 6 1/4in across and the fixture itself measures 10in across. Both the cap and pan part have ruffle ridges around the edge. The switches are marked WEBER. They turn pretty easy. The sockets hold a shade with a 2 1/4 in. opening. It has the old cloth wiring so it will"NEED REWIRING" As always I sell my electrical items"AS IS. This has been stored in the garage for years so it will need a really good cleaning and polishing. They can also be controlled by a walls witch(assuming your room is wired as such) Style-wise I’m uncertain what to call the sconces. They would look good in a Spanish-Revival home. Colonial-Revival, or Foursquare. Wholly restored and with new sockets and wiring. This set is ready to hang, and comes with all the mounting hardware needed! DETAILS: Sadly. Beautifully patinated, stunning enough to draw the eye but not so big as to be overwhelming. Five light arms hold two lights each on two levels-10 bulbs in all. Its original gilt finish has mellowed and aged into a patina that only a half century or more can create. Excellent Working Condition. No damage(except one crystal flaw noted below) faceted teardrop prisms, original chain and ceiling canopy, r eady to hang. Fairly recently rewired. As pictured, but bulbs are not included. The pictures were taken with either power ON(very bright) or OFF(unlighted)in its actual setting, this chandelier would likely be installed with a rheostat, so it could be dimmed. Pair Early 20th Century 2 Arm Bronze Sconces w Gilt Leaves Acorn Finials & Brass
Here we have a really great early 20th century pair of 2 arm bronze sconces with both gilt& brass leaves and acorn finials. These heavy sconces have a super deep time aged patina and we believe they date to the turn of 20th century. Each sconce has two arms and seven gilt leaves staggered along the length of the main bronze shaft. One sconce has four brass leaves between the gilt leaves and the other sconce is missing two brass leaves leaving two. All of the leaves have curved copper stems which are also used to hold the leaves to the main bronze shaft. These sconces are in untouched as-found condition with a wonderful deep time aged patina and we have not cleaned or dusted them. The patina is very deep and it is possible that it is remnants of red or brown paint. Each of these sconces will need brackets. Lighting parts, rewiring and ... morehave loose acorn finials. They each measure 13 1/4" tall. 4 1/4" across the arms and weigh 1 pound 10 ounces. This is a really interesting early 20th century pair of sconces with gilt leaves and with a little attention will make a wonderful usable pair. Original Antique 1910 Hanging 2 Arm Brass Light Fixture / Hubbell Sockets
This beautiful. Vintage 1910, fixture hangs about 31" from the ceiling and. That could easily be adjusted with the heavy chain. The fixture is about 15" wide without the shades installed. The brass is fairly heavy gauge. The pair of shades were on the fixture when I acquired it; they're perfect. They have frosted interiors and have a nice ring when plucked. The 2 Hubbell paddle switched sockets are in excellent condition and have a strong click when turned. This good looking fixture is ready to hang with new restoration, as you can see. An unusual pair of antique. Circa 1900, electric sconces in Louis XV Rococo style. Ormolu brass with screw secured cut and frosted glass three shades(one missing. Three(of four) removable ormulu crowns rest on the tops of the shades. Unmarked, probably French made. The sconces total measure 19" tall, the sockets 7" from the wall and 9" from each other. The wall plates measure 11" tall by 6-3/4" wide. The shades are 4-1/2" tall 3-3/4" diameter, the fitter rims 1-3/4" diameter. Both with new cord and sockets. Missing the wall bolts for mounting. Minor base chip to one shade. Fine original ormolu finish unworn. The pair is for one price.

All Original Solid Brass 2 Armed Mission/Arts& Crafts Ceiling Light Fixture. Fixture hangs 36" from Ceiling to tip of the final and has a 18 1/2" Arm Span(20 1/2" if you include the fitters) All parts are original from the Arts and Crafts time period. This is from an house that was recently demolished in Mason City. Iowa, home of the newly restored Frank Lloyd Wight Hotel. This is a virgin fixture with patina that took years to acquire. No attempt was made to restore any part of this fixture. Fixture is in very good condition for age condition. I found no major damage to any part. This is a very nice vintage 2 arm brass French style wall sconce light fixture. It measures aprox. 10 1/2" wide x 18 1/4" high x 5 1/2" deep. It has been re-wired. (2) Set of Antique Double Arm Solid Brass Wall Light Sconces-Rewired-w/sockets
I used to polish all my brass lights until I learned. Not all buyers like the high polished look. Some like them just like you see these. If I polish them, I loose a little of the market of buyers because they like the patina left on the light. If you prefer yours polished, these would look amazing and it wouldn't be hard at all with just a little time and some brasso. I found these in the rafters of an out building at an estate sale. They wasn't in terrible condition but the sockets were pretty much toast. The lights used to have the type socket with a roll switch on each socket. One of the pics shows where the flange just below the bulb has the place cut out for such a socket. If you want, you could put this type socket back in it. The opening can be turned to the back so it can't be seen. I just think it limits as to where ... morethe lights could be used if the switch was on the socket. You could just turn it on before mounting them and the switch would then work them but most of the time these will be used where you can't reach the light to use that type switch. Anyway, it has brand new sockets and wire in it, so they are ready to use if this application fits your needs. These are solid brass and not plated. Judging by the sockets that was in them and the wiring, I'd say 30's or 40's but I don't think they are any newer than that. Beautiful matching set and well made. You should know their size by the pics I took with a tape measure. The shades are pretty common and you can still find many different ones to go with these. These are also versital because you can turn them up or down. Each shade holder only has 2 out of 3 of the screws that holds the shades in the light. Plenty enough if they are turned up, if you mount them turned down, you will probably need to make sure you have all 3 screws in the holder or the shade will fall out. This beautiful two arm gasolier is an authentic 1856 Starr-Fellows reproduction. This fixture was created from an original historic fixture using the lost wax method. I purchased this for my 1861 house here in Philadelphia 12 years ago and have decided to take another direction as I undergo another renovation. Purchased in unlacquered brass.
