This fixture is a hard to find fixture and this particular on is free from rust which is very hard to find. Please take a close look at the pictures to see the amazing detail. It comes with the original finial. This lamp has the original 4 brass fat boy sockets as well. They are all General Electric Company sockets. This lamp has been rewired and is tested working. Please note it does not come with the chain this was only used for the pictures. Item is 15" wide& that center piece measures 6" top to bottom. Hopefully this helps with specs. Pic one is the side you will see looking up at the ceiling. Pic two is the underside that faces the ceiling. So is pick 3. Item will neeed some re-assembly specifically the part I can not figure out how to screw back into the base I am holding up in pic 2. It will also need re-wiring. At the end of the chain link there is another piece that would screw into something. I'm guessing your ceiling mount. All of the cast iron is in good shape but could use a paint job. Basically the more effort YOU put into this piece the nicer product you will have. Item is being sold 100% AS-IS. Frame is heavy strap steel, ornamental panels are made of cast iron, as are bottom and top fittings. Floral bolt embellishments are pressed steel, ceiling cap and light sockets are brass. It measures 22" in length, excluding ceiling cap and top tubing. It measure 17" in diameter. It is a used fixture, and is in as found condition. It will need to be re-wired for use. It is missing one of the light bulb sockets, swing pendant on bottom, and set screw on ceiling cap. There are two splits in bottom ring of ceiling cap, but it is still very useable. Offered here is a lovely decorative cast aluminum polychrome chandelier with crystal accents. This piece has been fully rewired. Cleaned and restored. Antique Ornate 3 Arm Cast Iron Chandelier Art Nouveau Deco Industrial Electric
Hello Industrial and Art Deco collectors! Up for bids is this recently recovered 3 arm cast iron chandelier. It appears to be 1920s vintage and at a cross over from Art Nouveau to Art Deco. It has black and white paint over what appears to be brass or copper. Measures just over 13 inches high. There are 12 inches between each arm and the base mount is 5 inches across. I see no marks to indicate maker. Still original wire. But it hasn't been tested. Comes from storage so needs cleaning up from some dust and dirt, but what a great restoration project! Antique Brass & Cast Iron Art Deco Chandelier 5 Sockets Hanging Cluster Light
Here we have an Art Deco hanging chandelier that holds 5 bulbs. This is an antique lamp that is brass and cast iron. The soceket cups and the shaft of the fixture are brass and the center star and circle are cast iron. The chain on this chandelier is a more recent vintage chain but could be easily replaced with one that would go better with the age of this lamp. As you can see it is in good condition but there is some wear to this lamp the worst of it shown in the last photo. This chandelier is about 15 inches in diameter and has a turn switch in the center that can turn the lights on and off. I would recomend re-wireing this before installation. Art Noveau Welsbach Polychrome Wrought Iron & Cast Iron & Cast Metal Chandelier
This Victorian Art Noveau Welsbach Polychrome Wrought Iron and cast Iron and Cast Metal Chandelier came out of an old house in Southern Virginia. It is all original with the original paint and original wiring. It is very ornate with its wrought iron scrolls and elaborate finials and ceiling plate. It has small flowers of metal at the bends of each scroll. The holders for the bulbs and globes are bell shaped and very ornate with a swirl finale atop each. I can't say enough about this beautiful chandelier. It measures 23" from the top plate to the bottom finial. It is about 22" across from light holder to light holder. The bottom ring is 12" across. This is a very large and heavy item. I had to hang it in a doorway with a rope to get a picture of it hanging. Weight 10.8 lbs. rustic cast iron chandelier with tin shade and big light globe...
Up for bid is this vintage cast iron chandelier. The chandelier has six cast iron arms that curve around and support the massive 2 foot across shade. The shade is made of tin or aluminum. In the middle of the shade is the big 10" white glass globe. I can best describe the chandelier as being rustic. It has a gold color on the shade with an uneven pattern of overtones. Where the six arms of cast iron curve around and meet the shade. The paint has been rubbed off under each of the six arms. The chain wich once supported this awsome chandelier has been cut off during salvage to about 1 foot in length. The power supply cord has also been cut off to about 1 foot. You can see in the pictures that i have plugged a white extension cord into the wires that are left hanging out of the light. The light came right on with no strange noises or nothing ... moreelse looking out of place. I left the light on for 30 minutes and all was good. The lamp is heavy and will have to go into a large box for tras port. Im figuring on by the time it is packed that it will be close to 20 lbs. because of box size it will go ups. Looks like a 20 lb package of this size will be about 68.00 for shipping. Sorry it is what it is. Beautiful early 1900s cast iron Gothic/Mission style 5 light chandelier. Perfect for putting that original touch on a home renovation. It's got beautiful colors and a shield/knight look to it. It was solid black when I picked this up at the estate. I gave it a quick wash and a lot of dirt and grime came off. I think with a good power wash it would clean up beautifully and look brand new! It measures 19" across at the widest points. Vintage Wrought Iron & Cast Aluminum Chandelier, w/ Eight Bulb Band of Lights
If you want unique. You've got it here. This large chanelier is made of wrought iron, stamped tin and cast aluminum, then painted a very retro burnt orange,and it works(the look and the lights) There is a circular band of eight lights in the middle which move a little, independantly with the rest of the piece. It's a bit of a mystery how this was assembled, but basically the cast aluminum pieces were screwed into the wrought iron sections and the stamped tin decorative pieces were welded in place, and all of this hanging from a VERY heavy duty(tow) chain. There are stamps or sticker on it so I can't say when or by whom it was made, but I'm guessing made in America and made to last. It measures 18"W x 37 1/2"T,a great old piece. Vintage Cast Iron (Looks Wrought) 5 Bulb Chandelier, 32" Head Space, 18" Diam
When I obtained this. It had no paint and was rusty. I cleaned it to bare metal, primed and painted it. It does need to be wired, including bulb sockets. I do show some sockets in the photo, but these are no good. They are needed to hold the shades in place, so I am using them for photograph purposes. The distance between the ceiling and bottom of the chandelier is 32 inches. It is difficult to measure the diameter but appears to be around 18 inches. When assembled. This is a very rare 6-bulb configuration lamp. The reverse side of the pieces show a rich, glowing gold color, but there is some light oxidation present to the fronts. Parts for repair/ restoration condition. With amateur assembly using modern(not brass) Leviton bulb holders to be an operating lamp. The main ring is missing two bridges, but they are directly opposite, so it is not a glaring loss, and still presentable. A good conservator can mold copies from the existing sections and restore them seamlessly. There appears to be a little nip in the stud hinge thing but it might be original. If it is damage it should be an easy repair. The arm measures approx. 8" from the wall connecter to the outside of the cup and is approx. 9" from the top finial to bottom finial.
