Reminding on the at that time futuristic skyscraper buildings. It is made out of pink-colored glass with amber-colored inclusions. Inside the lampshade is underlayed with white opaline glass. The fixture has a minimalistic design and is made out of chrome-plated metal. Measurements: The total height of the ceiling lamp is 15.0" 38 cm) The lampshade only has a height of 9.5" 24 cm) and a max. diameter of 6.3" 16 cm) Condition: The entire light is in very good. Used condition. Especially the lampshade is in great condition. This item offered is a fabulous Art Deco skyscraper ceiling light fixture that was make into a table lamp. Wow what a great piece the globe sits it original light fixture. Measures a large 9"tall with a diameter of about 10"wide. There are no chips or cracks in the shade that I can see someone put some tape on the edges of the globe but don’t see any indentations to indicate any chips. I can’t figure how to get the globe out of the fixture to clean. The shade is a little dusty on the inside.as we will leave the cleaning up to the buyer. ART DECO SKYSCRAPER CEILING PENDANT LIGHT WITH BASE MACHINE AGE MILK GLASS
Attributed to thew Virden Glass Company of Cleveland Ohio. This beautiful Art Deco Skyscraper pendant ceiling lamp is outstanding. It comes with a period ceiling mounting bracket and was being used up to the time it was removed. The baked black enamel painting is strong and in very good condition. There is the usual light chipping on the ground base but no cracks of obvious defects. This wonderful 1930S" Machine Age"ceiling fixture measures a full 16 inches tall, less the base and has a six inch opening. Note; A second identical lamp shade is also being offered without its original mounting bracket and the two together would make a outstanding statement to any interior design.

In fact I used the same photographs because I could see no difference between the two. Attributed to the Virden Lighting Company of Cleveland Ohio. How unusual to have a matching pair. 16 inches tall with a 6 inch opening. Black enamel accenting is nice. With aluminium gallery fitting This is an original French art deco piece. The shade is very much in the"Clichy" style of mottled glass. Condition is very good, the shade is in perfect order with no chips or cracks, and the metal surfaces are nice and clean with minimal signs of surface wear, consumate with age. Vintage ART DECO CEILING LIGHT skyscraper 2-piece globe shade 6" fitter EXC COND
For your consideration is this incredible ART DECO CEILING LIGHT. It is all original and includes a two-piece shade consisting of a milk-glass"skyscraper" shade attached to a prismatic clear glass shade with a stainless-steel band that secures with a thumb screw(see photos) The shades and band are in excellent condition: no cracks. No visible chips. There is some light chipping around the rim that fits inside the 6" fitter, but those can't bee seen with the light assembled. The fitter is chromed steel and it has some tarnish on it, almost completely on the part immediately above the shade that is not visible from belw. Again, see the photos and judge for yourself. This is an awesome and classic art-deco fixture. Its original ceramic socket is in excellent condition- just hook it up to the wires in your ceiling junction ... morebox. The milk-glass shade measures about 12" in diameter at its widest point; the stainless-steel band where the two halves of the shade meet measures about 10" in diameter; from the tip of the clear glass to the top of the fitter the fixture measures about 18" long. The fixture is tested and guaranteed to work. The socket accepts regular-size. Medium-base light bulbs. The light has been rotated in the photos and shot from various angles to show all surfaces. LARGE Antique 1920 Art Deco Ceiling Light Macbeth Evans Monax Skyscraper Shade
Here we have a great rare 1920s Art Deco ceiling fixture. The milk glass shade is marked"U.S. Pat. Jan. 1920 Macbeth Monax Made in USA" The shade alone is about 11 inches long and about 12 inches in diameter at it's widest. The ceiling fixture has an interesting way of locking the shade in place as you can see from the photos. There is some slight rusting to the metal of the fixture and there is some paint on it as you can see. It would also need to be rewired but that should be a simple task. The shade and the fixture are about 16 inches long. The mouth of the shade is about 6 inches in diameter and has some slight chipping around that edge. VINTAGE 1930'S MOE BRIDGES ART DECO SKYSCRAPER CEILING LIGHT FIXTURE CROWN TOP
VINTAGE ART DECO.MOE BRIDGES SKYSRAPER CEILING FIXTURE! FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION, a sleek Moe Bridges Art Deco Skyscraper CEILING FIXTUE WITH A gorgeous crown top 6" fitter. The shade is moderately large at 13 inches long and 8 inches wide at its widest point and throws a muted custard/pinkish glow and is perfect. Beside the Chrysler Tower straight line look there are accents of stylized flowers cast in the glass to complete the Art Deco appearance. It is one of the latter. Quality projects that Moe Bridges designed for use in theaters, churches and other major architectural edifices during the 1920s and 1930s. At least 4 different sizes of this shade were made in this style of varying colors and trims. The shade is absolutely guaranteed to be vintage old and in excellent condition. It has the normal flea bites around the fitter opening. ... moreThe Crown top is of an absolutely flagrant"High" Art Deco ceiling fitter that was designed for the custard shade. The fitter is overall about 10 inches tall with a diameter at the crown top of about 9 1/2 inches. The ornamental trim that is immediately above the shade is 3 inches tall and the pierced. Ornamental finial extends it another 6 inches. The original heavy ceramic socket is rewired and has all the original retaining flanges and screws needed to light and hold the shade. It is rewired with new cloth covered wire that would have been used in that day. Long ago the ornamental iron was finished in antique gold. The fixture is sound and solid. There are no breaks. Cracks or repairs. There is no rust evident and this should last another 90 years with no modification or refurbishing. The total hang is 42 inches from the ceiling including 12 inches of chain. It can be shortened to 32 inches by removing chain links. The ceiling canopy is 5 inches wide and not original to the piece. It has a repair on the bottom band where the screw holds the rod. Auction is for a fantastic 2 Piece Vintage Art Deco Milk Glass Skyscraper Ceiling Light Shade/Globe. It has no chips or cracks! Total height is 12" 5 5/8" across the opening- and circumference is 29" The metal ring is original and shows some age appropriate discoloration. The clear glass lense and milk glass globe are in wonderful condition. AWESOME ART DECO SKYSCRAPER GLOBE!
