It appears to be made of wrought iron and has an amber textured glass cylindrical shade.It measures approx 17" tall and extends out approx 10.5" from the wall to the outer most section. It is in estate fresh as found condition- uncleaned just as I found it. It is in Very Good Condition- no damages- the amber glass is perfect- the iron frame is in good shape- no damages- general age wear and some livable rust. No repairs and it solid and heavy. Large Vintage Copper Sconce With Amber Stained Glass Exterior Porch 3273-14
Very nice large copper sconce with amber colored stained glass. The metal is copper but is painted black. Has some nice scroll and floral detail. The amber glass is in good condition has no cracks. Chips, or breaks. A couple of the seems at the top have separated. The light socket is loose and the bracket it is mounted to has a broken weld on one side but it still feels strong and solid. The bar that attaches the light to the back mounting plate is split and peeled. Overall this Salvaged fixture is in good usable condition. An old heavy sconce probably from the 20s. Looks to have original black paint. No makers mark visible. Able to attach to wall by three or four screws. Presently 3 of the 4 depressions on the back side of the mounting circle have been drilled. Sticks out about 11.5 inch from wall. About 5.5 inch fitter with clear drain hole. Mounting circle plate is about 7 inch in diameter. One of the fitter screws is bent. At that position there is a hairline crack from fitter edge to hole where the fitter screw goes. Doesn't affect grip on screw. I only have the one.

I was told this was hand crafted/made by the gentleman I purchased it from(I asked about the glass and was told he didn't make the glass) The glass does move. Although there are little tabs inside to hold it in place and they do work, just noting the glass is not affixed and does have movement, which is why I have left the paper inside it. interesting paper, too, which I will include as giant was selling watermelon for 8 cents per pound.and just because the paper was with it to keep the glass tight. As found, in desperate need of cleaning(and will leave for purchaser) Each sconce has a frosted globe and each has wires in the back but they are frayed. I was told they were working when they were removed but I would expect new wiring will most definitely be required to get these to work. The inside of one(where the bulb screws in) is rather pristine but the other has some debris and a bit of rusting. I have added extra keywords in the title only because I have not been able to identify this light fixture. I believe it is a work of art and think someone else will love it too! Very heavy wrought iron frame with a brushed silver finish. Picture#18 shows paint loss and the iron underneath. Metal red cone shape hood is attached to the vertical arms that hold the glass shade. I do not see how you would remove the shade. The shade is badly broken and repaired. Maybe because there is no way to change the shade? It is broken around the top edge also. See picture#18. The uneven glass edge. There is a partial label on the back. I am guessing this would be for the exterior of barn. Gas station, porch.dark alley? castle? Does have old white paint and a bit of rust. Matching pair Mission Arts Crafts Copper exterior porch lights Vertigris Green
For your consideration is a matching pair of Arts& Crafts Mission exterior porch lights. They measure 8 1/2" or 21.5 cm to the top of the loop and the mounts are just under 5" or 12.5 cm. They both have a beautiful Vertigris Green patina from natural aging in the outdoor elements as seen in the photos. All of the glass panels are intact with no cracks. One has a good socket inside and the other needs one that is easy to repair. The pieces that were mounted to the house were painted over and as you can see in the photos. When the paint was removed from the one, it is bright copper and the other still has the house paint on it. There are acids that you can purchase at craft stores that will age and bring the natural patina of Vertigris green back.
