This is for a beautiful Antique Spanish/French Brass& Crystal 5 Arm Chandelier. With fleur de lis patterns throughout. It came from a Wisconsin Estate. It is marked and made in Spain. Overall, it is in Very Good Original Condition! There are no cracks, chips or repairs. The patina is very nice! There are 51 crystals, which will be removed and packed seperately. The chandelier weighs between 9 and 10 lbs. It measures about 20 1/2 inches tall(without the chain) and about 20 inches wide. There are a total of 6 chain lengths at 2 inches long each, so you could get another 12 inches of height. There is a matching ceiling canopy and ceiling connector. We are pleased to offer this beautiful. Antique(c1930s to 1940s) brass chandelier. This wonderful fixture features a large brass body with a classical urn shape. On the lower section of the body is a large glass ball for accent. The glass is thick and appears to be blown with a sublte vertical pattern. It is deeply etched/cut with a flower on each side. The flowers have long stems and leaves which are also very deep and textural. The unique bottom brass finial is an exact replica of the chandelier body which is a very nice touch. There are 5 brass arms with lovely curved lines. Each arm houses a single bulb. There are 5 hurricane style shades which appear to be hand painted with a soft green and white leave and stem design. The wiring looks like the kind you find in old knob and tube electrical and it would certainly need rewiring. It does have a great look and all of the parts appear to be here including the collar that fits to the ceiling and the chain and its hardware necessary to hang it. As for the metal. I believe it is brass or something with brass plating over it. Some spots show the wear on the surface and I would take steel wool to it as the underneath looks like brass also. There are also a few rust spots on the very bottom that could benefit from a good cleaning. Restored, it would make a lovely addition to a post Victorian, Art Deco building. A truly unique and elegant Chandelier. This antique bronze and crystal chandelier has 82 pieces of cut clear crystal draping from its many sensual slender arms. This chandelier is very reminiscent of the ones found in Coco Channel's Paris appartement. If you google her appartement(images) you will see what I mean. The Marie-Therese crystals are in 2 sizes: 5 and 4 inches long. Add to this an incredible crystal ball. 4 central fluted crystal shaft covers and the various shades of amber fruit: There are 10 bunches of grapes and 5 apples. The candles are made of opaque glass.not the usual pressed carton of the chandeliers from the period 1910 through 1950. Overall the workmanship is fantastic and the motif is simply chateau elegance! This beautiful Baccarat crystal light dates from the 1890's and is in great condition. I cannot find ... morea signature on this chandelier to confirm but it has every characteristic of a Baccarat chandelier. There is a crack on the top of the uppermost fluted shaft cover and some of the larger Marie-Therese crystals have some very small chips. The electric's work and it takes standard sized bulbs of up to 40 watts. We always recommend installation by a qualified electrician. The Chandelier has a 40 inch drop and is 22 inches wide. Each light has an individual switch. Each light has brass/ metal Bobeches and marked Pat. Feb 21. 1922 and June 26. 1923 and the match the Chandelier perfectly with the same design. Picture 10 shows the Pat. Dates. Has the original wiring and sockets. I see no breaks in the wiring but would ask an Electrician if the wiring needs be replaced. One knob switch is missing but these can be bought for a few dollars at Lowes or Home Depot or hardware store. Not all are matching. My husband hooked it up to show all 5 light arms work. Description Beautifullly detailed antique brass chandelier with 5 arms and three tiers of 5 embellishements above with prisms on each piece. There are 4 prisms on each boboeche and 3 additional on each arm. There are swags of prisms between the arms and on the second tier on the top part. Chandelier is in working condition with new sockets and sleeves and new center wire. The prisms are new. Chandelier measures 21-1/2" in diameter and 17" tall plus the center ball that hangs down and addition chain on top and a ceiling plate. Large Antique Art Nouveau Polychrome Markel 5 Arm Light Chandelier To Restore
I hope someone out there can bring this back to life. This came out of an old house that was built in 1909. It measures about 20" in diameter. It is about 19" from where the finial on the bottom goes to the top where the chain begins. It looks to have the original ceiling cap. It is marked MARKEL on the inside AND ALSO marked MARKEL on the porcelain light sockets. Also. one of the"hooks" that the socket holder dangles on is broken. I still have that little piece. It may need replaced. The wiring will definitely need replaced. It looks like it is aluminum underneath all the paint. Maybe you can see this in the pictures. Please look at pictures. Antique Vintage Flemish Dutch 12 Arm Brass Chandelier 5 Feet Across
Here is an incredible old Flemish"Dutch" style 12 arm brass chandelier. This piece is very large and measures approximately 5 feet in diameter. The height alone on this piece is 64" including the chain. Without the chain the height is about 32" This piece is quite heavy and consists of a brass center and arms. And a very solid wood bulbous baluster hanging from the center. I have not seen too many with the wooden ball baluster. Each of the 12 arms is screwed into a clip that is then attached with two screws to the center hub piece. I can see the lamp's cloth covered wiring, and I believe this chandelier is quite old, but I am not certain of the actual age. The majority of the lamp is in very good condition, and we have attached all of the arms in order to take pictures reflecting the actual size of this piece. It makes ... morequite a statement. It is not a multi-layered chandelier, all 12 arms come out at the same level. Each bulb holder has three"arms" coming out around the top that are all adjustable. The one thing that I can see regarding damage to this chandelier is that there is a crack in the big wooden baluster(picture shown) This is a very large piece to ship. I am listing a shipping charge of $99, but that is with the assumption that I will disassemble the lamp before shipping as it will be much easier to ship of I take off all of the arms, but that will likely also involve cutting the wiring. If I ship this way, and have overcharged, I will reimburse any shipping charges to you. Another option is that I will drop this chandelier off at a local shipping facility and you can coordinate your own packaging and shipping charges. Antique Gilded Leaf Art Deco 28" Tal Chandelier Hanging Ceiling Hall Light 5 Arm
A lovely Hanging Chandelier. 5 arm long and slender. It is 28" from bottom to bottom of ceiling cap. The hook adds 3" to that, it has a 21" span from center socket to center socket. It is 13" from the top of the globe to the bottom of the ceiling cap. I could not find any markings on it. Came from a century home and appears to be Arts Deco Era, 1920's- 1930's. It does show some minor gold loss and light pitting as pictured. It is missing two of the caps to hold the globes in place. Will need to be professionally re-wired. Antique Vtg Victorian Gold Red Arts & Crafts 5 Arm Chandelier Hanging Fixture
This is an original antique 5 arm chandelier with ornate floral leaves. Scrolls, and beading throughout, suspended from a chain with a ceiling canopy. The chandelier is gold gilt with a few red accents(in the diamond shapes on the post and on the disc insert that shows through the pierced bottom) I don't know if the red metal disc that is visible from the bottom is original to the piece because the paint looks newer, but it fits inside perfectly and adds some nice color. There are some scuffs in the paint on the disc and on the rest of the chandelier and some general wear, some dusty residue, and darkening to the finish from age. One of the decorative round scrolled pieces at the end of one of the arms is slightly bent, but it is not very noticeable. The chandelier needs to be re-wired and has not been tested. So I don't know if the ... moresockets work. The sockets use standard bulbs and all have a cardboard socket cover that looks like a candle with wax dripping down the sides. The socket covers are all worn with frayed edges and loss to the finish, but none are torn and they are still useable. A decorative metal pendant most likely hung from the bottom of the chandelier at one time. But it was replaced with a glass prism. The ceiling canopy isn't ornate like the chandelier and has the appearance of hammered copper, so I don't know if it was original to the fixture, but it looks good and is from the same period. I don't have a mounting bracket for it and it is missing the set screw that holds the bell-shaped ceiling canopy in position on the stem, so it frequently slides down the stem. The chandelier measures about 20" in diameter and hangs down about 24" from the ceiling.
