A very elegant late Victorian bag chandelier displaying a combination of 141 octagonal buttons. Losenge droplets and one base rosette. A superior quality chandelier. With a solid brass hoop frame displaying classical foliate decoration, and a corona of six droplets suspended from the hoop. With a total drop of just over one foot. It is large enough to sit comfortably below a 40-50 inch wide ceiling rose, in any medium sized room. Measures 10 inches wide at the top. Catches the light beautifully and throws around spectrum coloured patterns. All crystals are in excellent order. One small amount of crazing on minor button the point of the brass link wire hole. This is a beautifully crafted 6 sided slag or stained glass chandelier in a wonderful petit size. It measures 4-1/2" in diameter and 10" tall plus about 18" of chain. Has its original cloth wire and is in working condition. However as with any electrical item it should be checked before installation as wires or screws can loosen during shipping. There is no damage to the glass- slight wear to the frame finish. Slag glass is cream color with some gold in it. Takes a regular base bulb or can add an adapter for a candelabra bulb.
