Virden 5 Light polychrome Chandelier c 1920s Rewired Ready to Hang
Here is a truly stunning cast iron chandelier produced by Virden during the art deco period c 1920s-1930s. This fixture is a real beauty! This chandelier has been restored to its former glory. The ugly flaking paint was stripped to the bare metal. Period appropriate paint applied. Plus glazes and two coats of protective clear finish. The colors of antique gold, pale metallic burgundy, light green with small accents of copper made up the color palette. There is an on, and off switch at the bottom of the fixture, but you can use a wall switch. The obsolete cloth-covered wiring and old sockets have been has been replaced with top of the line. UL approved electrical components produced in America and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation.
