It is mounted by a center hole and will fit most older and newer type ceiling light fixture. The hole in the center is 3/8" There are no chips or cracks in the glass that I could see. Antique ceiling light fixture chandelier with glass shade vintage lighting
Antique ceiling light fixture with glass shade. Chain, wiring and mounting plate with bracket. The glass shade is 12 1/2" across and 3 1/2" deep. The entire thing hangs down about 31" and the base plate is 5" across and 3" deep. There are no cracks or chips that I could see. The mounting plate needs to be repainted and the wiring is the original cloth kind and should be rewired before it is installed. I have described the items condition to the best of my knowledge. Vintage heavy glass ceiling light fixture shade. It has a flower petal shape and I have 2 matching ones listed. It is 13" across and 3" deep. The center hole is just over 1/2" across. There is no cracks or chips in the glass that I could see. There are some small chiggers around the center hole and they would be covered when it is installed. The center has a 3" flat spot that should have a large washer or brass piece to cover it. There is some imperfections from manufacturing it in the center that would also be covered with the same washer. Nice shade and if you need 2 I have them. Vtg 1940's Lighting Ceiling Fixture by GLOBE Floral Reverse Painted Glass LUCITE All I can say is WOW! This is a 1940's Ceiling Fixture by Globe that has a Frosted Glass Reverse painted Shade with Floral Design. Done with Beautiful Bright Colors. It has a Silver Plated metal top with Clear Lucite Scrolls on the top as well. The outside Rim is Pierced Brass. Measures aprox 8 1/2" tall. 16" diameter glass and 6 1/4" diameter base. Has the Original GLOBE Lighting Products Co Label. It is in Good Vintage condition with some minor scratches and scuffs all around. Some wear and tarnishing to the Silver plated top, no Breaks or Cracks to the Glass shade, some minor chipping around the hole where the bolt sits, but this is normal for all Vintage glass shades. The Clear Lucite Scrolls are still intact and they have no Breaks ... moreor Cracks. Please note that this is Very Old and I have done nothing to restore this piece. It is being sold AS FOUND. The wiring is very old and I did not test this at all for functionality. It will need to be Hard wired and for safety, I would have it rewired. If you have an older home. Antique glass ceiling light fixture shade. It has an Art Deco style and it is a center hole mounted type. This will fit most older and newer type fixtures. Has a very nice clear sculptured skirt and center. The flat glass is white. It is 12" across and 3 1/2" deep. It is in good condition with no chips or cracks that I could see.
