BEAUTIFUL UNIQUE ANTIQUE ART DECO 5 ARM LARGE BRASS CUT GLASS CRYSTAL CHANDELIER
We are pleased to offer this beautiful. Antique(c1930s to 1940s) brass chandelier. This wonderful fixture features a large brass body with a classical urn shape. On the lower section of the body is a large glass ball for accent. The glass is thick and appears to be blown with a sublte vertical pattern. It is deeply etched/cut with a flower on each side. The flowers have long stems and leaves which are also very deep and textural. The unique bottom brass finial is an exact replica of the chandelier body which is a very nice touch. There are 5 brass arms with lovely curved lines. Each arm houses a single bulb. There are 5 hurricane style shades which appear to be hand painted with a soft green and white leave and stem design. Up for auction is an antique hanging light fixture/chandelier. I believe it's made mostly of cast aluminum(but not positive) with a white and gold finish. Most of it is not magnetic. The parts the sockets sit in are magnetic, so they probably are cast iron. The upper part is cut glass that is actually 2 pieces. I got this at an estate. Have no idea if it works, no way of testing it. Needs some light cleaning. Appears to have the original wiring. Has 3 sockets that take regular size bulbs. The light fixture is all brass but have some of the areas painted a tan or light brown color. Light have 4 heavy cast brass ornate 4-light chandelier arm with the flat on/off knobs( knobs are marked BRYANT) Light has a 20" long chain and the domed ceiling mount cover cap. All the fixture shades are frosted with cut in detailed design( cut in design is the clear glass) and gives off a soft. Warm glow when lit. BULBS ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THE AUCTION! I cannot find a signature on the light. SIZE: Approximately 20 1/2" across the arms and 47" from the domed ceiling mount cover to the bottom of the shade. The 4 outside smaller shades are 5" from top to bottom ... moreoutside, top of these shades are 1 7/8" on the inside and 2 3/16" aross to the outside. The bottom of the 4 smaller shades are 3 1/2" across to the inside and 3 3/4" aross to the outside. CONDITION:I was real careful when I tried the light because of fraded and bare wires, but all the light sockets worked as shown in the pictures. Reduced Rare Art Nouveau Crafts Large Cut Glass Dome Chandelier 3 Frosted Shades
Hello. Welcome to our auction of this original Art nouveau brass chandelier with large central frosted& cut glass dome and 3 large pendant lantern lights suspended down from the centre piece. The ceiling rose measures 8.5" wide and 4" tall. The main frame is 17" across and 5 1/4" tall. it measures a total drop from the ceiling of 34" With each side pendant on a chain of 3 links and total length from the top if the frame of 16.5 inches. It will require a re-wire and small amount of attention to the metal links holding all the pieces. It still has the ceramic rise& fall fixture within the ceiling rose. Which now has a metal hook. Each of the pendants has the old white ceramic edged screw fittings(normal width) There is a suspended arm adjoined to the frame which holds a bulb to the centre if the dome. For the ... morepurposes of the photos I have suspended the light over a single energy bulb.not the brightest. But I think this gives a basic idea of how it could look. The glass is in near perfect condition with only a couple of light edge marks where the small screws have held it in place. The dome and other 2 lanterns are unmarked. One of the small screws is damaged, but the shade is firmly in place with only 2. Good patina and age on the metal work, could be slightly polished so the floral motifs are highlighted. Antique French Style Glass/cut glass Lustre Chandelier Shade,
A beautiful Antique French style Glass Lustre Chandelier light shade. With an upper ring, which has 26 button lustres above 26 spear lustres. The lower ring has 16 spear lustres with button type above- see photo's. It comes complete with its own ceiling mount which has a hook to suspend the chandelier from. The ceiling cable simply hangs inside the chandelier. The upper brass ring has a diameter of 14 cm or 5.5 inch and it has a drop of 30cm or 12 inch from the hook to the tip of the lowest lustre. It weighs nearly a kilo in weight. There is a UK patent number stamped into the brass hanging part which is#855259. I think it dates to 1920's.This bag chandelier shade is one of a pair, see photo 6. 5 Early Antique Chandelier Crystal Prisms Czech Glass Cobalt English Cut Beads
This set of five wonderful antique Czech glass prisms measure 2" long including the wonderful old English cut bead 7.5mm and the cobalt bead which is 26.5 mm long and hanging from the bottom is a hand cut clear glass flower. The flower measures 10 mm long and 19 mm across. These do show age. They are from the late 1800's or very early 1900's, but no damage, just a few tiny flea bits on the edges and some light scratches, along with a few bubbles in the glass. They are an exquisite set of prisms and would make a wonderful addition to a special chandelier, as these are very rare to find. PLEASE NOTE: Everything we sell is vintage.
