I have never seen this tapered mast anywhere before. They came painted as seen in the last picture. They have been stripped and waxed with refurbished pull chain period fat boy sockets. The lanterns had several changes of glass. I hand cut the quality Kokomo slag glass for these so they all match. One has more of a copper color than the other, probably red brass. All the parts that show are brass. In the second from last picture next to the ball pull you might be able to see a small ding and tiny tear in the metal but is really not noticeable and part of the wear on these. They are not perfect and show minor dings and spots but all is redone and rewired and ready for ... moreanother 100 plus years of service. They hang down 23 1/4" to the bottom of the shade, with pull chains the drop is 28 inches. They are set up to easily adjust the length of the pull chain. These would work well on a long Bungalow porch or even as sconces if you want a drop like these have. Antique Brass Slag Glass Hall Porch Lantern Arts & Crafts Mission Re-wired Nice!
Here's a good authentic mission/arts& crafts style lantern fixture that recently came out of a small town Nebraska estate. Would date to 1910 or so. The lantern is 6" by 6" at the base and about 12" to the hanging hook. Made of brass with original green slag glass. Parts of the brass have old gilt paint on them. Some oxidation. No cracks in the glass. Has been safely re-wired for use. Has a pull-chain socket but this can be wired directly with the switch set to on. Use in a hall or on your porch. With it's current length of chain has a about a 32" drop. Chain can be shortened. Great period piece. Careful packing. Guaranteed to be old and authentic.

RARE UNUSUAL ART DECO ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN SLAG GLASS BRASS PENDANT LIGHT LAMP
Fabulous. Unusual and rare, beautiful art deco slag glass egg or bullet shaped pendant hanging lamp or light in good condition. The slag glass is encased in a lovely architectural designed framework probably made of brass with a fantastic patina! A magnet does not stick to any part of this light except the rod connecting the chain to the ceiling cover. Even the ceiling dome or cover does not attract a magnet. The total length of this light from ceiling cover to pointed finial is 29" while the length of the bullet itself is 16 1/2" from the finial to the ring attached on the bottom. The circumference around the largest center part of the light is 26 1/2" The light opens on a hinge to expose the socket for a light bulb. The old cloth wiring is not good so I could not try this light to see if it works but I have no reason to think ... morethat it does not. There is corrosion on the chain and inside the dome ceiling cover but no damage to the lovely caramel colored slag glass inserts. This is a heavy piece and will require extra padding and packing to insure it's safe delivery but I always refund any overages for shipping. Insurance will be required by the buyer. This is a wonderful brass sconce with a super patina. The wall canopy is 4 1/4" in diameter. The wall canopy does have some age/stress cracks. Antique Arts& Crafts Victorian Slag Glass Gas Shade from the Pittsburgh Glass Miller B& H Era. I have sold Pittsburgh Shades Previously and this shade is very similar with the Brass Cut out Silhouettes Used of That Era. This Shade is Original to my late 1800's built home. The top brass fitter portion would take the old spring type gas fitters. All glass is in excellent condition with no cracks or chips seen. The glass is all original to the shade with butterscotch and caramel colored slag/ stained glass. The fitter measures 1 5/8 inches across with the tabs measuring an extra 1/4 inch for a total 2 inch fitter end. The shade is six sided measuring approximately 8 1/2 inches tall and 6 inches across the bottom. Vintage 4/8 Panel slag Glass Fixture Hall Veranda with Brass
Vintage slag glass beige/ caramel panels fitted together with sturdy brass. The large panels measure 6-1/2" wide by 6" tall and the small panels above them measure 3-3/4" wide by 1-1/4" tall. There are 4 large panels and 4 small panels. The overall length of the light from the canopy to the bottom of the large slag piece measures 9-3/4" There is no damage on this light that I can see. The wiring even looks to be intact. There is a copper plate on the interior where the socket is. Additionally. The socket is encased in a gold-colored metal round section. Would make a perfect ceiling light for an enclosed porch or patio area, or for a hallway. I will package this very carefully for shipment. My preferred shipper for smaller lighting is via USPS. Antique Early 20th C Brass & Cast Iron Knight Slag Glass Single Wall Sconce
This is a great looking antique early 20th century brass& cast iron knight slag glass single wall sconce. It probably dates from the 1920s. The backplate measures 14 inches tall and 4 7/8 inches wide(35.6 cm x 12.4 cm) The slag glass measures 7 1/8 inches tall by 4 3/8 inches wide(18.1 cm x 13.3 cm) The section that holds it in measures 7 1/8 inches tall by 5 1/4 inches wide(18.1 cm x 11.1 cm) It protrudes out from the wall 4 inches(10.2 cm) Every detail is attended to in this wall sconce. Even the thick slag glass is molded with a knight on top and ornamentation in the main part. The backplate and extension are made of cast brass with a brass wash. The piece that holds in the slag glass is made of brass. I tested this out with a magnet. There are areas with red and blue paint on them. Which matches nicely with the oval red piece ... morethat lies behind the middle of the sconce where the two lions are. As you can see in the photos. There are many rust spots coming through. It's still very sturdy and these just tend to blend in with the sconce, giving it its old world look. The slag glass is in very good condition with no chips. Breaks or cracks. There appears to be a thin dark yellowish color which may have been original. About half of it is worn off. If you look at the glass from the back you will see lines in the original making of it, but these are not damage. It definitely needs to be rewired. As the cloth covered wire is unsafe. It weighs 3 lbs. 1 oz. 1.39 kg) I think you'll be very pleased with it.

BRASS NEWEL POST ELECTRIC LAMP WITH SLAG GLASS SHADE
It is brass with a great patina. The complete height as shown is 21 1/2" The height of the fixture without the shade is 15 1/2" The diameter of the base is 4" The shade has a 3 1/4" fitter. It has 5 panels of pink textured glass. There is no damage to the glass that I can see or feel. The shade is 6 1/2" deep. I have shown the lamp lit and unlit. Nice either way. The lamp was recently wired but as always. Check the wiring after shipment. I am not an expert so please ask questions before you bid. All sales are final. Antique Green Slag Glass/Brass Ceiling Fixture Old Gas Light (115150-11)
This is a lovely old ceiling light fixture. It will need rewiring.and lots of cleaning! It measure 18x18 and is 12" high. Green slags glass with brass seams. Which could use some straightened. Shown in the last pix is a small crack at the very bottom of a corner. In the next to the last picture is a hairline that goes over half way up. You really have to search for that one. Notice the hole in the metal in the 4th picture. We think that is where a gas line ran to it. Also notice the last pix. The metal bell has cracked. That would be replaced when it is rewired. There are 2 pull chain sockets. This will be a knock out with a bit of TLC. Great project. Please message me with any questions you may have.
