It measures 22" in length, excluding ceiling cap and top tubing. It measure 17" in diameter. It is a used fixture, and is in as found condition. It will need to be re-wired for use. It is missing one of the light bulb sockets, swing pendant on bottom, and set screw on ceiling cap. There are two splits in bottom ring of ceiling cap, but it is still very useable. The small flowers at bolts show paint loss. Cast iron parts, and ceiling cap retain good old paint. Fixture is otherwise in good used condition, and should restore easily. There are no bends, breaks, pitting, batters, or repair. This fixture is close to the usps size limits. And may ship with some dismantling. This listing is for an authentic vintage antique light fixture. This is a large ornate chandelier style fixture. With five lights. Frame is heavy strap steel, ornamental panels are made of cast iron, as are bottom and top fittings. Floral bolt embellishments are pressed steel, ceiling cap and light sockets are brass. It measures 22" in length, excluding ceiling cap and top tubing. It measure 17" in diameter. It is a used fixture, and is in as found condition. It will need to be re-wired for use. It is missing one of the light bulb sockets, swing pendant on bottom, and set screw on ceiling cap. There are two splits in bottom ring of ceiling cap, but it is still very useable. Vintage Antique 5 bulb cast metal hanging chandelier. Manufactured by the John C. Virden company. The fixture is part of the Aldersyde Series. From the 1930's-1940's. See picture from their 1941 catalog. This chandelier is in excellant working condition. It has not had any restoration to the polychrome paint finish& retains the original antique gold patina as well as the green and red floral motifs. The original porcelain sockets are intact, the only known thing done to the wiring is it has been wrapped. There is an on/off switch on the base of the unit but it has been deactivated. Antique Wrought Iron Chandelier, 5 Bulb - Late 1800's Early 1900's
This is a great 5 bulb wrought iron chandelier. An estate item from a 50+ year old grandson who explained he had his grandmother's things. The fixture itself is 16" high and 18" in diameter +/ with another 16" of chain/post(9" chain& 7" post) then a 6" diameter ceiling plate. The acanthus leaves are steel, not iron, flexible, and are very sound. The wiring was original and unusable. I took the time to remove it and brushed the whole lamp down, leaving the patina or getting you that much closer to refinishing/rewiring. I hope it stays"rusty" The paper candles are dirty and a few wax drips are off. As well as the tops a little rough. I didn't try to clean them. The retainer tabs for the wiring are intact but one. I put a picture of a part of the wiring for dating, if you know about that. I ... morelooked up wiring and that fabric insulation ended by 1930 or so and started about 1875 I believe. I did not find any brand or maker's marks. All the finials/threaded parts turn and thread freely, not seized. The leaves at the bottom do have tiny holes at the tips to add crystals. No crystals are with it, but there was a tiny wire on one leaf that made sense when I looked at other examples. If you have any questions or would like additional pics, please ask. I reply fast. Antique Golden Four Bulb Chandelier
This chandelier and the other one listed both came from the foyer of the home I just bought. I call them antique because they have that look. But I cannot guarantee this for you. I bought the home from a woman in her 60's; she said they belonged to her grandmother, but again, I can't confirm this. They both are lightweight metal of a shiny gold/ brass color. They look like they might be made by the same company. But, I don't see any stamped markings on them to indicate this. I wish I had photographed them before removing them, but I didn't so these photos are outside in the shade handing from my bird feeder hook. Antique Ceiling Hanging Light Fixture Chandelier 5-Bulb Electric Brass Metal
For your restoration pleasure. Here is a lovely antique ceiling fixture. Mixed metal construction, the socket covers, bottom body, and ceiling rose are brass, the arms are probably pot metal, and the upper body part is steel. It measures about 18" across at the sockets, hangs down approximately 16" from the ceiling to the end of the finial. All five sockets include the shade screws and the individual switches are intact and seem to work properly. The lamp will of course need to be rewired. And it has developed a fair amount of oxidation, tarnish, and finish loss. Other than that, the fixture is in remarkably solid condition, should restore to a show piece or could be enjoyed as found if you appreciate a shabby, original look. Vintage Wrought Iron & Cast Aluminum Chandelier, w/ Eight Bulb Band of Lights
If you want unique. You've got it here. This large chanelier is made of wrought iron, stamped tin and cast aluminum, then painted a very retro burnt orange,and it works(the look and the lights) There is a circular band of eight lights in the middle which move a little, independantly with the rest of the piece. It's a bit of a mystery how this was assembled, but basically the cast aluminum pieces were screwed into the wrought iron sections and the stamped tin decorative pieces were welded in place, and all of this hanging from a VERY heavy duty(tow) chain. There are stamps or sticker on it so I can't say when or by whom it was made, but I'm guessing made in America and made to last. It measures 18"W x 37 1/2"T,a great old piece. Vintage Cast Iron (Looks Wrought) 5 Bulb Chandelier, 32" Head Space, 18" Diam
When I obtained this. It had no paint and was rusty. I cleaned it to bare metal, primed and painted it. It does need to be wired, including bulb sockets. I do show some sockets in the photo, but these are no good. They are needed to hold the shades in place, so I am using them for photograph purposes. The distance between the ceiling and bottom of the chandelier is 32 inches. It is difficult to measure the diameter but appears to be around 18 inches. Five bulb solid brass vintage chandelier with light shades from the 40's
40's vintage 5 bulb chandelier. Solid brass even the chrome parts. Light was refinished and rewired about 13 years ago. Cream colored shades. Chrome switch in middle of light changes number of lights that are lit. I used this light in a house I lived in about 6 years ago. I can not remember which lights are on or off when the switch is turned. Some tarnish as shown in pictures where lacquer was miss sprayed. Tarnish comes off with tarnish remover but is not that noticeable. Light is about 17 inches across. 16" high and hangs about 24" down. Complete mount and five candle light bulbs included.

SUPER LARGE 3 TIER 28 BULB CHANDELIER BRASS SHINY VINTAGE LAMP OLD ANTIQUE 6'dia
Very large brass chandelier removed from church. 28 light. 4 tier. Approximately 4 1/2' tall and 6' in diameter at bottom. Large brass ball at bottom has a diameter of about 12" and is larger than a basketball. The chain is approximately 10' This was recently removed and worked fine when it was taken down. This is used and does show evidence of use and handling. The white tubes over sockets are real thin plastic and are real brittle and crumbling from heat of bulb. These can easily be replaced. There are some minor scuffs and scratches from installation and removal but they are minor and this is a nice light. Item in photo is item you will receive. 30 day return policy.
