Vtg 50s Signed Matte Gold Swag Crystal Prism 3 Way Hanging Electric Chandelier
Vintage 1950s Swag Ceiling Hanging Glass Prism Gold Finish Electrical Lamp Chandelier signed by designer. I cannot make out the signature on this lamp but I took pictures of it for you to figure out who might have made it. It is in almost excellent vintage condition with its only major flaw is that one of the glass/crystal prisms metal tie down is missing as seen in my pictures with arrow. This isn't noticeable though because when it is hanging the strand hangs down straight. Also. The chandelier is in its original condition I found it in at the estate sale and needs to be cleaned up more. I haven't the clue to what to clean it with and I'm going to leave that up to you but it really isn't all that dirty just a little dusty. This chandelier does work and is a 3 way system. You will have to get light bulbs for it because they ... moreare not included. I really don't feel safe shipping with bulbs. It is a really nice piece that has a great art deco look without being too frilly. As far as wiring goes I do know that the item works as seen in the pictures without any glitches but I have no idea if it is up to code with todays standards. Due to its age you might want to have it rewired to be on the safe side or just leave it like it is. I would use it like it is if it was mine and feel safe with it but not all people are a like. Hello Industrial and Art Deco collectors! Up for bids is this recently recovered 3 arm cast iron chandelier. It appears to be 1920s vintage and at a cross over from Art Nouveau to Art Deco. It has black and white paint over what appears to be brass or copper. Measures just over 13 inches high. There are 12 inches between each arm and the base mount is 5 inches across. I see no marks to indicate maker. Still original wire. But it hasn't been tested. Comes from storage so needs cleaning up from some dust and dirt, but what a great restoration project! Antique Ceiling Hanging Light Fixture Chandelier 5-Bulb Electric Brass Metal
For your restoration pleasure. Here is a lovely antique ceiling fixture. Mixed metal construction, the socket covers, bottom body, and ceiling rose are brass, the arms are probably pot metal, and the upper body part is steel. It measures about 18" across at the sockets, hangs down approximately 16" from the ceiling to the end of the finial. All five sockets include the shade screws and the individual switches are intact and seem to work properly. The lamp will of course need to be rewired. And it has developed a fair amount of oxidation, tarnish, and finish loss. Other than that, the fixture is in remarkably solid condition, should restore to a show piece or could be enjoyed as found if you appreciate a shabby, original look. Vtg. Antique Brass Hanging Electric Ceiling Light! Lamp! Victorian! Chandelier
I have two of these listed so if you need a matching set please view it's mate. I listed separate because most of the time people only need one. This wonderful antique light measures 23 inches wide/round and 18 inches tall. The chain and the part that attaches to the ceiling are an additional 20 inches. But of course, the chain can be shortened to adjust to the height of your ceiling. I personally would replace the chain and rewire the lamp due to age. For its age, it's in excellent shape, and I can find very little wear. There is a bit of scuffing and the metal has tarnished a little bit in spots. That would be mainly on the chain and such though, as the body of the lamp is just great. The bulbs need replace and you can chose the bulb of your choice. This auction is for an ornate Victorian or Art Deco looking brass ceiling light. Chandelier style, made to hang on a chain. It was taken from my mother in laws house recently during a remodel, the house was built in 1916 and this is the original living room light. It has three lights, the holders for the bulbs are on ornate arms, and dangle, they are not fixed in place, and they were set up to turn on individually by turning the key on each light. The chain, and ornate key bit on the end are still present as well as a cone like piece, but I can't recall how they were all put together. but all the pieces are here. There are 3 heavy glass shades, lightly frosted on the insides and not chipped or damaged. The light fixture has some dust on the top, a few paint splashes from paint jobs over the years, and the wiring is the old original cloth ... morecovered style, so I would recommend rewiring! Antique 19thC Style Beaux Arts Louis XVI Gas Electric Brass Chandelier
This is a magnificent Beaux Arts style chandelier circa mid-century. It is very heavy and made from solid brass. It measures 32" in overall length and 22" in maximum diameter. The body is approximately 12" in diameter, includes glass globes(which are removable) Excellent overall condition with minimal tarnish. The four brass globe spiders are patent dated 1890 and 1896. Vintage Mid Century Green Electric Plug In Hanging Lamp w/ Amber Colored Glass Globes and Glass Prisms. This Lamp or Light works great and would be an asset to anyone's vintage home decor. It has been cleaned lightly for pictures but might need a little more. It is missing one of its original nuts on top. We have replaced it with another one as seen in pictures. The prisms could stand to be rewired and attached to the lamp. The wire has gotten old that holds them onto the lamp and sometimes they break off due to the brittle metal wire. So rewiring the prisms is a must eventually. It isn't missing any of its prisms. You might see some minor scratches to the paint ... morebut none that is just awful or takes away from the lamp. The goldtone chain might have some fading to the plating but really looks good for its age. I don't see any rust on the chain at all. It has a very ornate design with a thick black paint. it is in the shape of an asian temple and has a white glass cylinder inside which houses the socket. it has the original black hanging chain and ceiling canopy. it is in good shape with minimal paint loss and made from a base metal. the fixture alone measures 24 1/2 inches by 13 inches. it measures 60 1/4 inches from ceiling to bottom of the fixture. the chain can always be shortened as well. in good shape. Antique Light Fixture Chandelier Ceiling Copper Wash 4 Electric Sockets Flush
This antique(probably 1930's era) ceiling light fixture is made of metal. Possibly copper or a copper wash over base metal for the circular portion. The arms and bulb housings appear to be cast and are probably base metal. The circular center cap was probably flush mounted to a ceiling(mounting screws or connectors are NOT present) Four hanging electrical housings with individual old plastic turn knobs on each hang decorative cast arms. The on/off knobs are black and are marked"Weber" There are no other manufacturer markings on the piece. The center round cap is about 11.75" in diameter. Excluding the arms. Diameter from the outer edge of arm to outer edge of opposite arm is about 16" The very old bits of wiring still present are obviously not usable. CONDITION USED- ANTIQUE/VINTAGE WITH WEAR/DAMAGE Nice old metal ... moreceiling fixture in"as found" condition. Including grime(it has been surface cleaned, but still needs more! Scratches and wear to the metal, verdi gris spots, rust. Dents on the sides(largest pictured) Screw or whatever attaches fixture to ceiling is missing. I have shown the fixture lit and unlit. Total length is 14 1/2" Brass finish in as found condition. Small stress crack on bell of shade holder. Shade has a satin finish with a cut design. It has a 2 1/4" fitter. The shade is 5 1/2" deep. It has a bottom diameter of 7 1/2" There are a few small fitter chips. It has been recently wired but always check the wiring after shipment. Gorgeous 12 Light Electric Vintage Brass/Metal Chandelier Very Ornate
Gorgeous vintage brass and metal 12 light electric Chandelier in great condition. Shows normal wear and discoloration from age but there are no cracks or holes and nothing is bent. WOW! All screws have surface rust and it will need rewired due to its age however we did test it and it does work. It just needs some TLC. It has 12 large arms that measure 22 1/8 inches across and each light measures 5 1/2 inches from the center of one light to the center of the next. It is approx. 20 inches tall. It is very heavy and also includes the ceiling cap. It would make a great restoration piece as all the bones are there just needs rewired and new light hardware. Unbranded. I have surface cleaned it so you can see how ornate the design is. There is also some very light surface rust on some of the pieces on the sides facing the ceiling that can only be ... moreseen looking down on the piece, this should remove easily with cleaning but as I said you wouldn't see it from below once hanging-see pics. 5 Antique Small Shades Gas or Oil Lamp Chandelier Non Electric Frosted Hobnail
Up for auction are five small light/ lamp shades. I believe them to be oil or gas because when I purchased them they had large amounts of soot inside of them. I cleaned them lightly but. Some of the residue still remains. They are very sweet looking, and are frosted hobnail with a top crown made of brass which does unscrew. Here it is and you can see it was hanging an being used until I just took it down. This is a fantastic solid brass chandelier that will come to you complete and in very good condition. This chandelier is original and early. Circa 1900-1910 made when no one was sure if electricity was going to stay around and be reliable. It is original made to use both gas and electricity. The 3 glass shades that point downward are for electricity; and the 3 glass shades that point up are for gas, also those arms have the gas shut off valves. Its nice to see apiece like this unpainted, damage free& with all the glass shades. I purchased this in the 1970's and it was polished and rewired to be all electric at that time. The center bottom section is approximately 8 inches diameter and 16 inches from bottom to top of hanging loop. The overall diameter with side lights is approximately 22 inches. This is a very large antique handmade wrought iron and crystal electric chandelier. it is all wired and ready to hang. it has an abundance of very intricate detailing and done by a talented blacksmith. it is completely hand cut and wrought by hand, has a white paint with gold gilding. And has many floral shaped pieces. it holds 6 regular sized bulbs and has candle shaped sockets. the socket covers are damaged but very inexpensive to buy at any local lighting shop. each socket has crystal drip plates and many hanging crystal prisms throughout. the bottom floral finial is finished with a very large crystal prism. it is in great shape and the chandelier alone measures 30 1/2 inches up and down by 2 foot wide and measures 3 foot from ceiling to the bottom of the large prism. nicely made piece. Victorian electric three light stamped brass chandelier with daisy head screws
Silver painted brass Victorian/Edwardian chandelier for parts or restoration. This piece has a large stamped brass saucer with three lights hanging from it. Each of the shade fitters retain their daisy head screws(9 total screws) The ball finial has a dent in in. The canopy/chain support is missing, it would need to be stripped and rewired. Antique 5 Light Early Electric Chandelier Brass Ceiling Art Nouveau Fixture
Very nice antique. Turn of the century, art nouveau 5 light chandelier. This is a very heavy solid light fixture. It weighs about 15 pounds. It measures approx. 19" across and is about 32" from the top that attaches to the ceiling to the tassel that hangs down in the middle. There are five copper lined sockets. Each one has a bakelite switch. Four of them say"GE" and the fifth one says"Paiste" The tassel in the middle is very heavy. I believe it is solid brass. This light is very old. Dating back to the early 1900's. The glass globes with it are not the original ones that were with the light. We just knocked the dust off of it. I think with a proper cleaning it will have a beautiful finish. I'm not sure if the wiring is original but it will need to be replaced as it is frayed and just doesn't look ... morevery safe. This is an impressive antique chandelier! Large. Bold, twisted, wrought iron, candles, cut out metal shades, scrolls, hooks, 5 lights- IT'S ALL HERE! oh and lots of dust too! No idea the history of this piece. It's from an old house in Portland but no idea the age. All the scrolling. Hooks and twists are wrought iron. The lights are faux candles in candle holders that looks like wood and metal with wax drips. They are welding to the wide center band. Lots of twists and design! The shades look like weathered copper, so does the wide band that has each light welding on to it. The bottom and the top finial are also ornate! The chain and ceiling cap are also wrought iron. This ceiling fixture needs to be hard wired in. The wiring looks good! each' candle' light measures about 15 inches tall. Candle flame looking light bulbs are ... morepresent. At the widest point from end to end of opposite lights- measures about 23 inches across and overall height is about 18 inches. This light weighs on its own about 13 pounds. I have quoted boxed at 17 pounds. It will be an oversize box too. What a great find! Interest to Antique ceiling fixture.
