It has a gorgeous cream colored column AND ceiling cap made of porcelain that is beautifully painted with floral motif and accented with gold.This was made by the famous Porcelier Company and it's rare to find the chandelier body and ceiling cap together. And in such fine condition. It is paired with this very nice, pale, sort of creamy beige-ish pink glass shade that is ribbed and scalloped and has no damage at all as far as chips. Cracks or scratches. Does show nicks in the paint. Normal wear for age, mainly around the flat bottom part of the shade, around the finial. I have shown this in the last 3 pics. You can barely see it. Can't see it at all ... morefrom a few feet away. To refurbish this beauty I had to rewire it and replace the sockets with new porcelain sockets because the wires and sockets were in poor condition. However the fixture housing, etc is original. RARE VINTAGE PORCELAIN ROSE CHANDELIER DROPS
FIVE DELICATE ANTIQUE PORCELAIN ROSES Each rose is slightly different so obviously handmade. The roses are a wonderful creamy white color with a hole in the top to hang them with. These could be used for crafts. To repair an antique lamp, as a pull for a curtain, light switch, hang them in a window. If you are creative, make your own lamp and hang them all over. I believe they are probably french or italian. Beautifully made! They measure approximately 2 1/4 inches long. Just the kind of thing that you would find at Anthropologie. They are quite delicate so I will leave the cleaning up to you. There are some imperfections that are almost impossible to see. We are pleased to offer this beautiful. Made in Italy, crackled porcelain, Delft style chandelier. This stunning fixture features ornate brass hardware with 6 deeply curved arms. The arms have"tied tassel" leaf feature at their mid section. There are smaller, non-functioning, decorative arms in between which are fashioned in acanthus leaf scrolls. The porcelain is beautiful. It is white and has a crackled finish. There are blue painted accents and flowers. There are also black flowers for contrast. The chandelier body is porcelain as are the bobeches. Under each bobeche is a brownish gold, porcelain sphere. There is a bell shaped porcelain cup on the bottom of the fixture. It houses a single bulb for down lighting. Therefore the chandelier is a 6 arm, 7 light fixture. The original, Made in Italy" stickers are still present ... moreon the top side of the bobeches but most of them have faded. This is a beautiful, Mid Century(1950s to 1960s) fixture. It is in very good condition with very little evidence of age. The wiring is vintage but in very good condition and the chandelier is ready to hang. There is an on/off switch on the fixture. The fixture requires 6 candelabra type bulbs for the arms and one standard bulb for the down light feature. Standard, 60 watt bulbs are recommended. j The chandelier is large. The bobeches feature a hammered, fluted design. The porcelain body is urn/vase shaped. The bottom section has a textured, waffled pattern in white porcelain and dimensional acanthus leaves. Offered is a nice large lot of vintage never used. Fine white porcelain chandelier roses. There are a total of 15 fine porcelain, hand made roses in this lot. As you can see no two are alike. These are just under 2 inches in diameter. All have a tiny opalescent glass beads on the bottom and come with a top glass oval jewel/prisms for hanging. The bead and jewels can be removed so that they can be directly mounted on the chandeliers or lamp branches. WOW IS ALL I CAN SAY. Stunning porcelain and tole bird cage style Italian chandelier with macaroni beads all over. I have never seen this chandelier ever in my life. I assure you to find another one will not be easy. Its got great porcelain pieces all over it and stunning roses and most of them are in great condition with only minor flea bites. Its just incredible, the detail, the shape, the macaroni beads, its a Shabby chic girls dream come true. hahaha! Two of the porcelain pieces do have cracks(I show in photos) that were glued but no porcelain is missing. They were clean breaks. Also one prism doesn't match its a different shape, only saw this after serious inspection and could easily be switched out with one to match. Comes with ceiling canopy and the 3 hanging lights inside do work as you can see in photos, but all old wiring should ... morebe checked by a professional. Also I just noticed that the bottom porcelain piece where the ball hangs from, is missing some porcelain, will add photo, its one corner of it is knicked off. Its just sooooo cool. antique Bulpitt 1916 iron porcelain brass ceiling oil lamp lantern chandelier
This is a very rare antique Bulpitt 1916 ceiling oil burning fixture. it is made from iron. Brass and porcelain and has a wonderful patina from age. the removable burner has lockable notches and knobs to hold it into place and a key to adjust the flame on the side which hangs on a chain. there is also a place on one of the two arms that the key can be held. I forgot to show a photo of it but you can see the spot for it. right above the burner is the exhaust which releases heat out of the top. around the chimney is a large piece of white porcelain. the top opens on a brass hinge and locks shut at an ornate brass hinge. Which has a removable pin held by a chain. it has nicely wrought iron chain which is held by a large cast iron hook at the top of the fixture. it has normal ware from age and works great. Comes with an extra wick. the lamp alone ... moremeasures about 13 1/2 inches up and down by 10 3/4 inches wide and about 24 inches long with the hanging chain. Up for offer today a rather unique French bronze cherub chandelier. This cherub chandelier is made out of very good quality bronze. Cherub is holding a bow with leaves and 1 porcelain flower. The frosted shades are original to this chandelier. All in very good condition. Height including the chain and canopy is 25 ½” Length of the cherub is 9” Distance from end shade to other shade is 15 ¾” From top of the bow to bottom of the cherub is 12 ½” This beautiful chandelier dates back to the early 1930’s. Offered is a 19 piece lot of vintage never used. Fine white porcelain chandelier roses. There are a total of 19 fine porcelain, hand made roses ranging in size from 1.25" to 2inches i diameter. As you can see no two are alike. There is a thru hole in the centre for attaching directly to your chandelier branch or they can have crystal beads attached to them so that they can be suspended as well. The roses are approximately 60 years old and have never been used and are more than likely of French origin.
