Markel Art Deco Chandelier Custard Cup Shades 3 Light
Three bulb custard cup chandelier manufactured by Markel Electric Co. with original custard cup shades. Chandelier body was disassembled and bead blasted to remove the dilapidated original finish. Repainted a neutral tan color very similar to the original paint. Lastly. Gold accents were applied by hand to produce a period appropriate restoration grade finish. These small custard are very hard to find and in excellent shape. The design on the shade is part of the charm of this shade. It hangs from an old three chain fixture. The color when on is wonderful. There are many pictures for you to see for yourself. The shade is 7 1/2 inches across and 3 1/2 inches deep. It hangs from the ceiling 9 inches. There is roughness to the glass around the opening where it would have been attached to it's ceiling fixture. The 3 sets of hand-painted flowers and green paint trim are all in very good condition. This auction includes a set of two vintage sort of pale pastel yellow or creamy custard art glass shades which have a very nice flared shape to them. Raised ribbed patterns around the sides, and rough cut top and bottom rims. They measure approximately 3" tall. By approximately 6" across at their widest center points. The top openings measure 5" across to the outer edges, and the small bottom fitter ends measure approximately 1 3/4" across to the outer edges. Both are in very good condition. And have no chips or cracks overall. There is minor roughness with some small chiggers to the rims which is typical on rough cut shades. Antique custard glass chandelier shades set of 7 Art Deco Arts&Crafts era
A nice set of very old art deco/ arts& crafts chandelier lamp shades. Cream/ custard glass. yellowish- off white) Set of 7. Dimensions are Neck opening diameter 1 1/2" Top Opening diameter 3 3/4" Overall diameter 5 1/2" Height 3" These look great lit. A nice soft light. Weight is about 1/2 lb each. Required packing will make this a relatively heavy package of about 6 lbs. Although the glass is thick it is delicate. Top opening is a fairly rough cut( see photos) and appear to be a mold blown glass. The neck opening is polished quite smooth.

Really terrific antique pendant ceiling light fixture. Circa 1920's-30's. Light fixture is solid brass with stamped design around top of ceiling mount canopy and also on the brass socket bell where it holds the shade in place. The link chain is metal. Total fixture measures 17" length including the shade. Shade is in excellent antique condition. No cracks. Couple minor flea bite chip along the bottom opening. Paint on glass shade is outstanding. Virtually no paintloss to either parrot scene or ton any of the 4 rings that surround the shade. Shade is beehive in shape. Shade itself measures approx 5.25" x 7.5" Has been rewired for safe usage.
