One wheel is missing a spoke and two spokes are loose on one end. I can see no other areas that need repair. This has been in a private collection for over 20 years. I do not know the original area that it came from. We had it appraised 10 years ago And the value was $10.000. Antique Copper Horse Weathervane Finial Topper Patinaed Original
Nice old weather vane in pretty decent condition. The tail has a sag.definitely can be fixed but I'll leave that up to the new owner. The horse is 29" long and 14" high. Great piece of early Americana ready for display or use.

A very nice antique large horse hollow copper weathervane. Measuring in at approximately 31" long and 16" tall this A. L. Jewell styled running horse weather-vane is a very impressive piece indeed. We're not sure 100% of the exact age but we do believe that it is late 1800's or early 1900's. This was just discovered at a 5th generation farm on a small gulf island in British Columbia. Canada.
