The point has weathered nicely over the years and what is left is a great verdigris green patina that will display well. This point was made from solid brass. Or bronze. There was some hunks of tar on the base and up the side of the point. The nickel was intact under the tar when I dissolved it with acetone. 8 Lightning rods point old vintage copper light verdigris green rustic
These are very old. They came off a house that we just bought that was originally built in 1870. The house was added on probably in 1930 or so. Not sure of the age.they can be around 70 years old. Calling them vintage. Because I am not an expert on copper lighting rods. In the last picture.you can see that the last one is bent.you probably can reshape it.I didn't want to damage it.and also the second to the last one in the last picture has a small dent on the bottom. In the picture there is 6 hardware and screws. The other 2 hardware brackets are attached to the rod. They are 16 and 15 inches high. Sold as is.They are old and have been exposed to the elements for many years. Posted with

Up for auction is cool antique copper lightning rod w/base. This rustic piece has light verdigris green paint and stands approximately 15.5" tall and 10" wide at the base. There is a slight bend at the top of the spike that can be seen in picture#5. I have not cleaned this piece and there is paint missing.
