Canadian made lightning rod, finial, cable clamp, stand and delphite blue, 3 piece mold swirl blue milk glass stars and bunting globe. The cable clamp and, finial are hallmarked. The finial, clamp and rod are copper with the finial being nickel plated at the tip. The cast iron tripod stand is twisted. The blue globe has the usual chips on either end of the rod holes and there is some minor surface cracks on the globe. No structural damage to the globe, very sturdy. The rod is around 54" in length. This auction is for 3 copper lightning rods in good condition. 21" tall Marked on the bottom piece of copper. One with D&S, the other 2 with Dodd& Struthers Is has normal wear from being on the roof for about 100 years I don't know how old it is. I just know that the whole set was by D&S. Dodd& Struthers, Des Moines Lightning Rod Company, as I found the copper plate on the barn with their name on it, as well as the markings on the bottom of the rods. Paypal is preferred payment. Sun Colored Amethyst Dodd & Struthers lightning rod ball
SCA D&S lightning rod ball. Comes with two caps as pictured. Both caps are on tight. Both collars appear to be in excellent condition under the caps. There is a very small amount of silver mercury residue left on the inside. This ball is hazy. And I have not tried to clean it. No chips or cracks. overall condition is excellent.

Antique Weathervane 4 Star D & S Lighting Rod Globe Dodd and Struthers NR
For auction is a four star D& S(Dodd and Struthers) weathervane. Fits on the lighting rods and this one would normally hold the 10 sided D& S lighting rod globe or ball. This is an original and this is the way I purchesed it. It has its original aged finish. I believe this is a cast aluminum and the stars are copper. Aluminum does not darken like other metals and this has a nice aged oxidized patina to it. I guarantee this as old and authentic. It does have a break in the area as shown. I realize this hurts it a little but who is going to use this outside again. It is still solid and displays excellent. These are very hard to find with all of the stars.
