Antique galvanized barn vent. Stands about 5'9" tall. The base measures 3'2" x 3' 2" The vent ring around the middle is about the same 3' 2" A bit of surface rust but still a very solid piece. Galvanized sheet metal held together with mostly rivets. The individual components are held together with screws and nuts. Re-use on a building or would make a great garden piece. LOCAL PICKUP ONLY

A nice vintage"medium" size barn cupola from a barn roof in rural Syracuse. Nebraska. Measures 46 1/2" square and about 12 foot tall. Is attached and stands on four 4x4 wood lumbers. Some rusted out spots near crown, underneith, could be primed and stopped. About 10 bullet holes in total. The weathervane is present and removeable. Cast iron& copper weathervane. The animal from the fin of the weathervane is missing. But another may be attached. I supplied the two vintage blue glass balls. Then just hit the BACK button and don't even go any further. This isn't an antique. But it has some age on it, and it was most likely used on a barn roof, most likely a dairy barn. It spins free and smoothly! It measures about 12" tall. 12" wide on the INSIDE of the base. And the turbine itself about 17" across. It's made primarily of aluminum. The big round piece on top is aluminum, the base is galvanized steel, but the small piece in the center of the top is plastic. It has some slight bending/dings here and there. But it's generally in nice shape to be older and used. I'm using the postage calculator on this. And sometimes it charges too much for postage. If you win, expect to pay whatever it states in the auction, and after it's shipped I will try to catch it if there is a substantial difference. If I don't please contact me. For sale a wonderful pair of a original late 19th century/ early 20th century tin vent cupolas. Each is hand crafted with a soldered and riveted top. The top connects to the base with straight edge screws and square bolts. The paint is all original. There looks to be several layers of red present from years of repainting. Some of the paint is chipping in spots but this gives each a unique textured appearance. A few dents and some wear can be found but nothing that detracts from their appearance.
