OLD WHITE MILK GLASS LIGHNING ROD BALL.
This is an old milk glass lightning rod ball. It is in good condition. It is missing the caps that go on the rims. And the rims show some minor ware. The color is great! It is around 4 1/2 inches tall. I do not know much about these so if you have any questions please ask and I will get back to you as soon as I can. I should also let you know that I go to the mail on Fridays. But if that is a problem let me know and I will do my best to work with you. ANTIQUE VINTAGE 5" KRETZER BRAND AMETHYST CLEAR GLASS LIGHNING ROD BALL GLOBE
You are bidding on a Rare Antique Vintage Kretzer Brand 5" Tall Amethyst Clear Glass Lightning Rod Ball Globe. The Glass Ball itself is in Excellent Condition with no cracks or chips but like most of these balls. It has chipping around the outer rims, see pic's) The Rims do come with the Original Kretzer Brand Aluminum Caps. The Caps are very thin and bendable so there are some bends and little cuts but intact. I do not clean such items, I leave it up to the buyer to do what they prefer. It measure 5" tall, 1.5" in diameter on the outer rims. Shenandoah County Va. Vintage Horse Weathervane Lighning Rod
You are viewing a original vintage 1890's 1900's Shenandoah County Va. Horse Weathervane the type that were attached too a lighning rod on barns and houses. It was removed from a barn near Mt. Jasckson Va. The wearthervane is in great condition. No holes, great paint and patina. I believe it is made of pressed thin iron or a heavy tin. Made in two pieces and seamed together.
