Old Kite Tail Lightning Rod Weathervane Arrow w/ Original Plum Glass and Ferrule
Old cast iron kite tail lightning rod arrow with original purple/dark plum glass insert and mounting ferrule. The glass is textured. Bubbled on one side and wavy on the other. The top of the ferrule is flared out which prevents easy removal; it has verdigris and remains of black paint. The set screw turns freely. Measures 17 7/8" long and the ferrule fits a 5/8" diameter rod. Vertical post is for photography purposes and not included. I do not have a"Buy it Now" price or end auctions early. Any questions.
