They've been in air conditioned storage since that time. These were commonly used by the medical profession. They are rare. That's for sure. The finish of the paint is still in remarkable condition, though they still need a thorough cleaning. Many of the pictures show the shiny surface of the paint, which was manufactured by DuPont. The metal surface was prepared and sprayed with a rust proofer by the Parker Rust Proof Co, with their product called Bonderite. From the"How to care for SIMMONS FURNITURE guide" SIMMONS FURNITURE protected and enhanced with Du Pont satin-finished HI-BAKE DULUX. SIMMONS Steel furniture is specially finished with Hi-Bake DULUX for outstanding beauty and durability. DULUX is an exceptionally hard finish with excellent moisture resistance that protects against rust or corrosion. With proper care. SIMMONS furniture remains beautifully new for years. Overall condition is good. The drawers are in good condition. With the top drawers showing a little rust on the inside. The second drawer down has only a small amount of rust showing, and the bottom drawer shows no rust. The drawer guides could use some graphite to restore the smooth fluid movement of opening and closing. Each piece has it's own forgivings. I tried my best to display in detail the extent of the abrasions. Dents and scratches. Examine the pictures carefully. If you need larger pics, or perhaps a different view, contact me and I'll send you the requested pics asap. The footstool's fabric is intact- no rips. Tears, holes or cracks and the material is soft and pliable. Someone removed what appears to be shipping tape- and that managed to remove some of the color in a small area which is more noticeable in the pictures than in person. Hubley Metal die cast model cars truck for parts arts crafts Lot 5
This is a lot of 4 old broken down metal die cast and plastic model cars in rough shape. They measure approx. 8" long.They are dusty. Broken and missing pieces, and have been in a box for many years. 2 are marked Hubley Lancaster PA on the bottom. The yellow one with seats is marked Gabriel. The long car in picture 4 is only marked'made in japan 611' on the bottom and I believe is all plastic. My Dad was avid collector of model cars and kits. I found a bunch of old models that he had marked for parts. And before sending them to the recycle bin I thought I would see if anyone had any use for them, maybe an art project or something. I have them grouped into lots that will fit into a medium flat rate shipping box. Depending on where you live there may be a cheaper rate and I will be happy to check that for you. Antique Art Nouveau Vase Arts & Crafts Movement Hammered Metal
For sale is this exquisite antique Art Nouveau Vase. I also list this under Arts& Crafts as I believe it to be a cross-over piece. There are elements of both movements in its design. I found he vase buried in an old house. It was just filthy but I loved the design so much that I had to purchase it. Really did take me an incredibly long time to polish. I left the underside unpolished so you could see how much it needed to be cleaned. I believe this is silver plate over brass. Some of the brass is showing through. Which is most apparent on the bottom ring. There are a few dings as shown, which is why I have my opening bid priced so low. However, really lovely and a wonderful find. Measures approx. 13 1/2" h with a base diameter of 5" Shipping is $9.95 across US connecting states.

This copper lamp is clearly imprinted on the bottom with the Arrow Metal Copper mark(see the photos) fits nicely into the Arts and Crafts. Or Mission, period. It has a naturally acrued patina, not recently polished, and has the flaw on the backside near where the cord emerges from the body, an indentation. Again, see the photos. This lamp appears to be entirely of copper, some turned and some cast elements. From base to top of the harp it measures about 17" while the copper vase shape is about 9 1/2" high. Description Antique Gothic Style Arts& Crafts Era 15 1/4" Electric Lamp Wrought Iron& Punched Metal AS-IS This listing is for an Antique Gothic styled Arts and Crafts Lamp of mixed metals. It is manufactured of Quality Wrought Iron with a decorative steel punched shade. The lamp bottom is made of brass and suspended by 3 chains from the top of the iron bracket. This neat old lamp is unmarked and I would estimate its age to be circa 1920's from the fabric wrapped wiring. The lamp is very well made as you can see in the fine proportions and elegant lines. As well as the twisted iron accents of the base. The single light has a pull chain to turn the lamp on& off.please see all scans) It stands approximately 15 1/4" tall while the base measures roughly 6" across. The shade. Art Nouveau or Arts & Crafts Style Metal Card Box
I purchased this at auction. I thought it was neat. Decorated in an Arts& Crafts/ Art Nouveau style with the leaves across the top with a loop to help open the box held on with a bracket and round fasteners. I don't understand how they are held on. All metal. Measures 9" long x 3 1/4" wide x 1 3/8" tall. No marks. Inside: 4 slots for cards? Tray for pens when open? The problem with this is if it is real, it's a treasure. If it is a reproduction, I can see it too. It has smeared patina, looks like sand in the bottom interior, rust in and out, looks like old paint scraped off with years of being in a cellar or garage shelf. Candle holder measures 4-3/4” tall and 2-5/8” in diameter and is in good condition with a bit of a bend at the top that could be straightened out but no major damage and no rust. Old ARTS & CRAFTS POTTERY TILE HOTPLATE In Metal Footed Base 6 1/4"
Aubert Auctions Description An old arts& crafts era blue/green glazed pottery tile fitted in a metal footed base. There is a partially legible paper label adhered to the reverse of the tile. What can be read is the ending of a company name in the letters NCKLEY and the end of a town's name in the letters UXBURY MASS. The tile and base is attic fresh and covered with dirt and grime. It appears moisture has set under the tile in the metal holder which has caused corrosion and grunge buildup on the tiles reverse. The pottery and blue glaze are in good overall condition without breaks. Cracks or chips. There are no repairs and item is in original condition without repairs. The metal base has a mottled paint design on its underside. Paint is in good condition. There are remnants of two stickers on the underside. In the paint is a 1 1/4" ... morescratch which appears to have happened while paint was drying. The metal frame measures 6 1/4" across x 1" high. The tile measures 6 1/32" across x 1/2" high. The tile glaze is not crazed and other than dirt and some surface scratches in good condition. No chips, cracks or repairs. Please see photos for further specifics.
