The space from the floor to the underside of the pull-out writing surface measures 30” in height. This beautiful Tall Walnut Victorian Cylinder Roll Secretary Desk is in excellent condition for its age, has many wonderful details and is just waiting for its place of prominence in your home! The elegant bookcase top is graced with beautiful crown moulding adorned with incised carved spade moulding. Two handsome horizontal raised burl panels are found above the gorgeous glass doors. These gorgeous glass doors have pierced cornices at the top and are graced with four large floral medallions along with fluting details. The right door has an intact lock and a working key. The elegant bookcase top has Three large adjustable shelves that measure 9” deep by 37 ¾” long provide ample display and storage opportunity. This elegant bookcase top sits on a fabulous double burl panel cylinder roll base with fluting details on the sides. The carvings. Period details and burl walnut accents on this 19th century desk are just beautiful and this desk is definitely heirloom quality.a beautiful statement piece for your home! This fine desk measures 45 1/2 inches in height to the top of the gallery at the back.Height to the top at the front measures 46 inches, with a total width of 48 inches, total depth of 26 inches and this desk weighs approximately 200 lbs. The pull out writing surface measures 41 inches wide by 21 inches deep and height from the floor to the top of the writing surface measures 30 inches. The knee hole height of the desk portion measures 25 1/4 inches and knee-hole width measures 18 3/4 inches. The cylinder portion of this desk raises and lowers very smoothly and has a large brass lock mechanism on the bottom which is marked: Indianapolis Cab. Co Pat. The lock is intact but we do not have the key. The inner desk portion is beautiful maple with a multitude of various sizes of storage drawers and cubbies.The old green felt on the pull out writing surface appears original and does show some wear and some spots. The left offers a stack of four storage drawers with period dove-tailed ends and the original pulls. To the right another drawer is found with a storage cabinet below. The lock is missing from the cabinet door. As you can see in the pictures this desk could easily be in the center of a room for it is as lovely on the back as the front and is finished beautifully all the way around. This Victorian Eastlake cylinder roll desk circa 1880 is in fabulous antique condition. The desk features ... morea gorgeous original finish and period hardware. There are four graduated drawers over flared french feet and shaped skirt. The drawer fronts have book-matched crotch mahogany veneers and cockbeading. The fitted interior(sorry for the dust) has burl walnut veneers, ebonized pulls and boxwood stringing. The interior cupboard door opens to reveal a drawer with a secret drawer behind. See photo) The desk measures 44" high by 39 1/2" wide by 20" deep. In overall very good condition. There is some minor loss to the veneer on the feet which we will restore for you. The desk lid is cupped which makes the desk impossible to lock properly though we do have a key. I don't think we want to try to address this particular issue but please feel free to contact us with any questions you may have. There is also some cracking of the veneer on the lid but it is all stable, nothing loose. The desk has great color and patination and is guaranteed to be as described. This roll-cylinder secretary features a wonderful ... moreheavy carved crest, and dates from the 1880's. It comes with three original shelves that are adjustable behind the wavy glass doors. It has burl walnut panels coming down both sides, heavy crown molded top and a crest with big ball finials on each end. It has a commode base with three drawers and a door. The only thing I don’t like about this cylinder desk is that the finish is light, similar to a cherry, but it is walnut wood. It has the original heavy bold brass hardware, and is in really nice shape. The pull-out writing surface has green felt on it. When you open the double panel cylinder roll, it reveals a simplistic double drawer interior that is simplistic.

An antique. Late eighteenth to early nineteenth century, English Queen Anne-Georgian(William& Mary) miniature bureau desk on tall legs. The drop front and drawer front have burl walnut veneer. The case is walnut veneered, the legs walnut stained, the stretchers with walnut veneers. The interior has six walnut stained drawers with brass knobs. It measures 34" tall by 19" wide by 14" deep, the drop front 7" deep by 17" wide. Very good condition: original finish, case boards and legs without cracks. Missing the top skirt to two cubbyholes, some veneer chips here or there.

One of kind antique 19th Century traditional burl walnut stationery cabinet decorated with bronze and elegant wedge wood plaques. The detail and quality on the traveling stationery cabinet is wonderful and just a true work of art. The cabinet is over 120 years old and in very good condition for its age. The wedge wood plaques are in great condition and the bronze has developed age tarnished. The stationery cabinet is in its original condition and has not been touched up or restored.
