The desk features ... morea gorgeous original finish and period hardware. There are four graduated drawers over flared french feet and shaped skirt. The drawer fronts have book-matched crotch mahogany veneers and cockbeading. The fitted interior(sorry for the dust) has burl walnut veneers, ebonized pulls and boxwood stringing. The interior cupboard door opens to reveal a drawer with a secret drawer behind. See photo) The desk measures 44" high by 39 1/2" wide by 20" deep. In overall very good condition. There is some minor loss to the veneer on the feet which we will restore for you. The desk lid is cupped which makes the desk impossible to lock properly though we do have a key. I don't think we want to try to address this particular issue but please feel free to contact us with any questions you may have. There is also some cracking of the veneer on the lid but it is all stable, nothing loose. The desk has great color and patination and is guaranteed to be as described. This is a very nice quality card cabinet and is made from tiger oak with a nice brass handle. It has a little brass plate on it that says"Library Bureau Sole Makers. It appears to be a light clear stained color and is very smooth. The cabinet is in good shape for it's age and has very few nicks. Dings or scrapes on it as you can see in the pictures. The cabinet is dovetail mortised along the top, bottom and on the drawer. One dovetail has a little piece missing from it as you can see in the second to the last picture. The cabinet has a bottom. The finish is in excellent condition, enhancing burl grain panels, with small mars at the edges. A vintage Wood Desk with eight(8) Drawers. We are pleased to present this vintage Desk for your consideration. Made of solid Wood. The Desk has a Mahogany Veneer exterior with a beveled edge around the top surface. The oval shaped metal Drawer Pulls are original and coated with a dark finish. Eight(8) Drawers provide plenty of storage space, including a double height drawer on the right side at the bottom. Quality construction details are typical, including dovetail joints on the Drawers. The Desk measures 29-1/2 inches high. 45 inches wide, and 21-1/2 inches deep. We did not find any marks that identify the manufacturer. In quite good condition. The Desk has a few minor issues. The veneer has peeled in a few small spots, mostly along the back edge(see the last picture for a close up) A few of the Drawer stops are not working on the right ... moreside(which permits the Drawers to go in too far) but this is easily repaired. Typical age appropriate wear is found to the wood surfaces, with scattered bumps and minor dings, most having a dark patina from age. thank you for your interest! selling eight drawer pulls they measure 26mm. Just over 1" wide x 1.5" long they were used. Some will have paint on them and possibly grease from handling the brass section may be discolored more on some of them than others. I dont see any rust though as for the ball section. Looking at them, I dont see any major scuff marks or cracks and they weigh just under an ounce each. They do clean up well as you will see in the second photo the third and fourth photos are examples i am seeing of the paint and dirt I do have 40 of these in all and will be listing them soon. It is in good condition with no pits from rust. The vines and leaves in the center will give your furniture a special charm and beauty. The pull is marked on the back PAT. DEC. 23 1873. The bin pull was stripped of all the old layers of paint. It was then cleaned and sprayed with clear acrylic lacquer finish made by Sherwin Williams that is specially made for cast iron and exterior applications. This is another wonderful. OLD antique oak 8 drawer file cabinet. It was made by the SHAW WALKER Co. and is also marked Seattle Office Equipment Co. From the early 1900s, it looks like there ar 10 drawers, but the 2 bottom drawers are actually doubles, so they would hold a deeper file. overall great condition, doors all slide out smoothly. Very heavy over 100 lbs. Measures 52 inches high, is 22 inches across and is 27 inches deep. This set of drawer pull knobs is not old but they do have a retro look to them. They have a flat black finish and have sort of football shaped knobs. They are in very good condition with no notable wear. See pictures as they are a good part of the description. They are they are about 7/8 of an inch by 1 1/8 of an inch and stick out 1 1/4 inches.
