One of a kind. Very good condition woman's writing desk from Mexico, circa 1900. This one of a kind piece has no screws or glue, and fits like a puzzle! This desk was brought to the United States circa 1970 from Durango, Mexico by my Grandmother. She in turn received it from her piano teacher years before! The desk shows quite well, as it has only been used as a decorative piece since at least 1970. Please note, all pieces are present, although the drawer handle needs to be reattached.

Vintage Antique Curved Top Hutch Cabinet Dresser with hand Carved Inlay
I don't know allot about this cabinet beside that we really liked it when we got it. I have never seen another like it. We used this as a cabinet to store extra sewing supplies in our craft room. But we out grew the cabinet and got something bigger. I believe it to be from the 1940's but I could be way off. There used to be a shelf that went inside, but it was gone before I got it. The Hole that were cut in the back are really the only damage to the cabinet. The measurements are 35.5 inches wide by 51.25 tall. Italian 1900 Antique Hand Crafted Oak Secretary Desk. This secretary desk was hand crafted in Italy around 1900 of solid oak. The old finish with some newer revarnishing preserves lots of antique character. Dings, wear and shrinkage separations from age. Waxed and polished, only an occasional wipe with a soft dry cloth is needed to maintain its warm patina. Wrought iron side handles are original. Brass hardware is old but not original. The lock on the dropfront does not work, the key is a handle only. Pull out arms support the lid. Inside are eight small drawers plus a locking compartment with inlaid banding and a star on the door. All drawers have hand cut dovetail joints on this historic European furniture. Every surface shows hand planing. Sides are single wide planks and the front has wooden pegs at the joints. The delicately curved tabletop features a hand painted floral motif at the center as well as painted triangular detailing and faded, barely visible gilding. The drawer has dovetail joinery and the Sligh Grand Rapids sticker is still visible on the interior. The beautifully carved legs provide an added finish to this feminine desk and it is small enough that it would be wonderful in a bedroom as a bedside table or at the foot of a bed.
