Up for auction is 2 old oak desk name plates that were made by a master carpenter in the 40's or 50's. They came from an old shutdown cabinet makers barn. They are beautifully stained and finished in some type of polyurethane. The measure 10 1/4" x 3 3/4" x 2 5/8" deep. Would make a beautiful gift for even the highest executive. They are nicely routered and I see no flaws. The felt on the bottom is a little faded(see pic) I have 6 more of these if you need more. Just let me know. These are beautifully done. Bases have their original finish in very fine condition. Waxed and buffed, only an occasional wipe with a soft dry cloth is needed to maintain the warm antique patina. Classical fluted motifs are understated on this furniture from Europe. The desk has a banded top and two drawers with hand cut dovetail joints and original working locks and escutcheons. The front and back rails that connect the banks are missing. The front molding is also loose. The drawers are missing the carved moldings on the keyholes and there are a couple of drawers that are missing the stops. The desk measures 29.5" high x 51" wide x 27" deep. The height of the kneehole is 26" and the width is 21" The top of this has a thin writing surface taped on that we believe is leather. Due to the age we are not 100% positive. Offered is a large and drop dead gorgeous hand painted satin two part Bow Front Breakfront. With fully fitted desk interior. I am on the fence weather it is English or American, but leaning English. Imposing piece, top has 4 doors total, double door center, and one single on each end opening in opposite directions. Side panels are parallel to the back(wall) while the center section is bowing out about 4" 5" Each section has a fully functioning lock. There are 3 adjustable shelves inside each section, held up by metal plugs, which can be moved up or down. Corners of each door are decorated with lovely Adams Style painted wreath/ leaf branch. This top can fit any or all of you china sets, or any great collection of quality smalls. Great lines and proportion top and bottom of the breakfront. Bottom is too busy with drawers! Nice combo ... moreof storage and utility. There are 4 doors on the bottom, double center and two sides, matching the top in shape and symetry, each with one shelf inside. Band above features fully fitted drop drawer leather top desk, with 3 mail/document compartments in the middle flanked with two drawers on each side. Leather is green, with beautifully silver tooled edges. To get the desk functional, one would pull the drawer out to desired distance, then press the large brass button(one on each end of the drawer) and the"drop front" would unlock, than come down prostrate ready for use. Up for purchase is this beautiful Drop Front Secretary Desk with Glass Door a three shelf book or display case on top. I am told this is Birds Eye Maple but I am not 100% sure. I am not sure how old this is but I believe it to be an Antique based on the locks on the desk and the hardware. As you can see in the pictures this displays and looks beautiful. This piece is 84" tall X 36" wide X 17" deep. This would be a great addition and is really a neat piece of furniture. Once purchase has been made I will have these pieces professionally refinished so that you can pick them up in amazing condition as they have been used in an office setting on a regular basis since their production. There is no Stow Davis sign on the pieces but they are solid wood and it matches look of the leather top desk so I am 99% sure it was produced by them. My landlord sold me these pieces and he did say that it was a $5.000 set. The bench is not as old as the desk. I think the dealer made the bench to go with the desk. It is painted the same color and match the desk very well even if it's clear it's not that old. You are buying the desk shown in the pictures. No maker name or manufacturor. Metal frame with wooden seat and back. Desk top has laminate cover and pencil slot. Measures about 16 inches to top of seat. 15" wide, 30" to table top. The top is adjustable up or down abount an inch or so either way. This desk has not been painted or restored in any way. You can see light rust, graffiti, small dings, small defects in the wood. Look closely at the pictures. That's the actual desk you'll receive. Desk is about 25lbs. one of 2 writing boards now listed. each is from the same 1900's oak office desk. the boards measure 12"x 26 3/4" x 3/4" the boards have a tiger oak veneer on an oak 12" wide board(no seam) there is a finger groove on the underside. personally. I would do a good cleaning to the boards, a light, fine sanding on the streak of black crud, oil, and then leave them alone. For sale is an antique Clemetsen Company. Chicago(Clemco) desk. I picked this up in LA about 7 years ago for 300 dollars. It's been my primary desk since, but I don't have the space for it now so need to get rid of it. It's in good shape, considering that it's about 100 years old. Drawers and spring-loaded drawer(for typewriters? are really smooth. I used the spring loaded drawer with an insertable hanging file rack so was able to keep files in there. I love this desk. Antique 2 Drawer Railroad Caboose Rustic Craftsman 1900's Wood Desk/ Table
The pictures say it all but I will do my best. This desk/table belonged to a railroad family and was used in the caboose. Actual age am not sure of but is old. Has a drawer on each side of desk with open shelving also. Is more of a craftsman work that has some interesting lines and designs. The wheels attached to the legs were added later according to the family. Has a 2 tone look about it. Will not find another 1 like this for sure so bid with confidence. Local pick up only.

Offered for sale is a dual vintage primitive school desk. Mounted on original hardwood runners, made from cast iron and American hardwood with a great aged patina. The desks have an incredibly nostalgic look to them and have been enjoyed by young children. The cast iron is quite fancy and marked: Minneapolis O&SF Co" The right side legs are marked"E*R*H* and the left side legs are marked"E*L*H* The hardwood is in good aged condition as shown with the original school days markings. Antique original mission desk library table tiger oak measures approx 28 x 48 x 29-1/2. Drawer is missing the pulls. Cross-piece under drawer. Left side has a chip as can be seen in photo. Wood panel on bottom of drawer has a split as can also be seen in photo. Overall good condition, nice tiger oak pattern of wood grain. Left side of table top has 2 very minor spots where tip of screws from underneath have made minor wear to the top. Not very noticeable. See photos for overall condition. Vintage Child's School Desk 2 Piece Adjustable Industrial Steampunk
Up for auction is a black& red child's school desk. The desk legs adjust from 21 1/2" in the lower position and 26 1/2 in the upper position. The desk measures 20 1/2" x 14 3/16" and has an inkwell& pencil groove. The chair seat is 19" x 12 1/4" and the back is 19" x 15 1/8" The chair in the down position is 14" and 17" up. These are all approximate measurements. It is in good condition with surface rust. The desk will be partially disassembled to reduce box size and shipping cost. It is not difficult to reassemble. It is wood and metal and some additional cleaning may be desired. There are some splatters of paint on the desk top and the top of the back of the chair as photoed. Antique/ Vintage School Desks Wood seats and desk top with metal sides as seen in pictures. This are roughly 100 years old and have been in my family for over 50 years. They came from a Racine or Kenosha. Wisconsin school. The desks come in two parts. One part is two desks with two chairs. The under shelf of one of the desks is missing. Second part is a folding chair. All three chairs fold up. The height is roughly 28" at the highest point. Desks are about 21" wide and length is about 58" long with seat folded. PICK UP ONLY! I donated my truck to charity so I can't deliver this item. I'm about 75 miles north of NYC in the beautiful Hudson Valley.
