Up for sale is a Beautiful Quarter Sawn Oak Teachers Desk and Chair. This is a nice solid piece. The desk measures approx. 61 inches wide. 33 inches deep and 30 3/4 inches high. The top of the desk is leather but is in a very used condition. There are 3 small draws on the left side, 1 small and 1 large draw on the right side, a middle draw and 2 pull out writing trays. This desk come the original quarter sawn oak chair on rollers. The base has had some repair(see last picture) but is very solid. Very nice piece. NO RESERVE

Masterfully hand carved details include scroll work and deep moldings. The top has been revarnished for durability. The base is original and extremely well preserved on walnut and cherry with very minor mars at the edges. Waxed and polished, only an occasional wipe with a soft dry cloth is needed to maintain its warm antique patina. Working locks are original on dovetailed drawers.
