This early c.1900s oak desk was recently removed from the office of an attorney. It is in very good condition with probably an early refinish. The patina on the finish is very good. It is paneled on all sides so it can be placed away from the wall. There appears to be no known damage to this item. The wear is consistent and appropriate with the age and use. The lock on the upper right top drawer is missing from the inside. The top removes from the bottom drawer base for easy moving. The approx. measurements are: 50" L x 28 1/4" W x 30" H. It has a large work area in nice condition. Gorgeous wood veneers, front to back planking in the bottom of the drawers which helps date this as an older circa late 1880's piece, original brass drawer pulls and terrific decorative escutcheons and a top surface in very decent condition. This wonderful desk has pull out supports that extend to support the writing surface and four large functional drawers below the desk for extra storage.
