They have intact points and cut paper but could use sharpening. The blades are stamped"Patent" on one side. The scissors measure 2 3/8" long closed and almost 4" long opened. They were made by Bontgen& Sabin. A well known cutlery company in Germany. In the photos, I've included a c. 1910 ad from the company showing these scissors. Later versions of these scissors are stamped'Germany' so this pair dates to around 1890-1900.
