Fun vintage celluloid PIG with tape measure in hind end novelty Arkansas
Plenty of character in this vintage celluloid advertising piece- a bright yellow-gold pig with a red hat. Equipped with a tape measure. He's two and a half inches from the tip of his snout to his tail and approximately 1-1/4 inches tall. The advertising message on top is partly rubbed off, but says, in part"This little piggy comes from Mt. Ark. Measuring tape was partially pulled out when I got this. I've messed with it a little to see if it would retract, but didn't get it to do so and didn't want to attempt it further for fear of damaging it. It does pull out more tape. Hope you enjoy it! This Antique Victorian Figural Brass Pig Novelty Sewing Tape Measure is somewhere from the late 1800's to the early 1900's. Very collectable. It is a wind up mechanism and the size is 2" long x 1" high& 3/4" wide. The tape measure is broken off at 24 inches so it starts at 25 inches to 40 inches. Everything else about it is in very good condition for the age of the item.

Vintage Metal Pig Tape Measure - Tin? - Pot Belly - Hog - 2.5"
For sale is a 2.5" vintage metal pig that has a measuring tape inside. This one has no markings on either the figurine or the end of the tape. Tape appears to be in very good condition. I think this one is tin. It may have been silverplated at one time. Looks like the figurine has been repaired. As the spot-solder points on the top and bottom look to have a newer/shinier look than the original spot-solder points. Still in very good condition.

TAIL ROTATES This is a rare vintage metal Pig Tape Measure which has a tape measure which is stored in its belly. The tail rotates to rewind the tape back into the pig. The first inch of the tape measure is missing and a safety pin secures the end from going back into the pig. It is made from a dull brass colored metal and measures 2 inches long.
