These scissors are from my family and I know them to be over 100 years old. They are marked Klipping. Germany and measure 3.5 in. The points are intact, There is a dark spot on the neck on one side but other than that I think these scissors are in fine shape, I only ship within the U.S.

ANTIQUE SOLINGEN GERMANY BIRD STORK EMBROIDERY SEWING THREAD SCISSORS VINTAGE
This auction is for a very neat pair of antique embroidery scissors in the shape of a bird or stork. The scissors measure almost 4 inches long. They are in excellent condition and still work beautifully. I believe they were gold plated. But some of the gold has rubbed off over time. The stamp inside the scissor(photo 4) says, H H Hill, Solingen, Germany" Sorry it is so hard to see. It is very clear with a magnifying glass. These were made in the early 1900's. It came inside of it, and fits beautifully, so I thought they went together, but the red leather case is marked, Firenze" so it is Italian made, not German. Vintage Stork Sewing Scissors 1930's, Westfield Germany, RARE bird embroidery
I have a pair of Vintage stork/bird embroidery scissors. Dated to the early 1930's or before. This pair of scissors is marked Westfield MFG Germany, and was originally gold plated but the gold has worn down over the years. There is no other damage to the scissors, they are in original condition, i have not tried to polish them or alter them in any way. I have found similar scissors posted online, but i have not been able to find any from Westfield Germany, which leads me to believe they are slightly rarer then other types. I have seen some listings describe similar looking devices as a midwife tool. You would not be doing any cutting with this girl-both parts of her bill are flat-I am certain that this would be used for clamping. And. It works quite well as a clamp. Operation gets increasingly stiffer the closer you get to fully closed. But. I may be incorrect in my assumption that this is for sewing. Given the motif. It may well be for midwifery. This is a lot of mostly antique sewing type items. There is a pair of Stork sewing scissors. They are marked Germany and something else I can't read. A beautiful enamel door knob off of? Marked Sterling with a Hallmark and some numbers. Needs to be polished. It does screw apart and can be used maybe on a small jewelry type chest. A small quarter size piece of blue Wedgwood. Marked Wedgwood on the back. Maybe came out of a pin? A small shoe button hook. I am unsure what the handle is made of. It is not marked. 4 antique picture buttons.
