2 VINTAGE WISS-ONE THOUSAND BARBER & HUGE INDUSTRIAL BENT NOSE INLAID SCISSORS
These are unique and rare pairs of vintage Wiss scissors. The first pair are industrial inlaid scissors measuring overall 12 5/8"L. Heavy. Sharp blade. Top blade is bent or snub nosed, and the bottom is pointed. Has the Wiss trademark engraving, but too old for the inscription in the blade itself as to size and description. Black enamel handles have chips. This pair of scissors has seen lots of heavy duty work. May have been carpet or tailor scissors. Still cuts smoothly with its sharp edges, and easy pivoting center. Has the number 5 inscribed in the crux of the handle. The second smaller pair of barber shears is marked WISS and engraved One Thousand. Very sharp, pointy. Metal is dark and discolored, but no rust.
