This is an Antique Singer Sewing Machine Oil Can with Clip. These were typically found in Singer bent wood cases and some older electric cabinets. It measures 2" diameter and 3" tall. It has a good antique finish and is not dented. There are some very light scratches. The original cork seal is missing. But I found a new rubber O-ring for it! The bottom has faint surface rust around the lip. The paint on the clip has scratches and wear. It comes with both original mounting screws. Collection of Antique Wood Bobbins Many Sizes
This is an antique collection of wood bobbins. They come in all sizes and shapes. The largest one is 10 inches high. The smallest is 4 inches high. One large one is missing its end or possibly it just came that way. Since they are all quite old and all but one are on unknown origin it would be hard to say whether the one seemingly without one end was made that way. The set of bobbins weighs a little more than 3 pounds. They should have a packaging weight of 4 to 5 pounds.

Here is a Antique Vintage Sewing Tools 1800's Wood Triple Hinged Dove Tail with Velvet interior Case with Tools. From my research this shows to be from the late 1800's. As you can see from the pictures the case is in great condition with all the hinges working perfectly. The tools inside seem to be in pretty good condition with a few showing surface rust. The Velvet in the case seems to be in pretty good condition as well. The front of the case is stamped but I cannot make it out. This is a true rare find for any collector. ANTIQUE FRENCH VICTORIAN CARVED WOOD"EGG" SEWING ETUI Exquisitely carved treen sewing etui. Late 19th century. I do not know what the wood is, but it has a very fine grain, lustrous patina and the screw action is very smooth. It was almost certainly intended as a sewing etui, but in France these elaborate items were sometimes used to hold a rosary. It measures approximately 3 inches(8cm) high and is 1-3/4 inches(4cm) in diameter. Condition is excellent. Apart from a slight chip on the inside of the etui. Shipping: Well packed. Antique Wood Sock Darner With Original Metal Band This is a great antique darner in a mushroom shape with a metal band which can be used to hold a sock in place while darning. It is hardwood construction appears to maple. But cannot guarantee it. Measures 2 1/4 inches in diameter X 4 inches in length. The band is stamped PAT'D DEC 18, 1900. A nice sewing collectible. It has great patina and I love the scars that it shows from someone using it. As is the nature of vintage treasures this piece is neither perfect nor pristine. But shows subtle marks of time gone by which in no way compromises the soundness of the piece, but only adds to the beauty and the character. Great addition to any ones collection. An exotic expensive timber from India, that has been logged to extinction over the past 200 years. This lidded sewing box, probably dating mid 19th Century has Mother Of pearl with chequered inlays to the centre top, with a matching escutheon plate to the front, mop line inlays also to the front and top edges. Sizes are approx. 11& 1/2" wide, 8& 1/2" deep, and standing 5" high. The interior fitted with blue silks, various lidded apartments, open wells, an envelope store in the lid, lift out tray, and the box contains various sewing pieces, buttons, and other minor hasberdashery items. A very nice period box, in very good condition, minor hair lines/movement in woods, original worn baize to base, slight ... morewear to envelope folds, and other minor wear/scuff, but overall nothing to detract from a quality period item. 3-4 kilo shipping weight. Antique Mystery Wood Sewing Notion!!
What the heck is it? I bought it over 25 years ago at an Antique Show in Mpls. and I can't for the life of me remember what it was used for! Made of wood and is approx. 3 3/4" long. It's two pieces in excellent condition. The barrel looking part fits over the taller piece. I think it's a thread holder? But not sure. I would welcome any guesses or knowledge. Thank you!
