This is an Antique Singer Sewing Machine Oil Can with Clip. These were typically found in Singer bent wood cases and some older electric cabinets. It measures 2" diameter and 3" tall. It has a good antique finish and is not dented. There are some very light scratches. The original cork seal is missing. But I found a new rubber O-ring for it! The bottom has faint surface rust around the lip. The paint on the clip has scratches and wear. It comes with both original mounting screws. Here is a Antique Vintage Sewing Tools 1800's Wood Triple Hinged Dove Tail with Velvet interior Case with Tools. From my research this shows to be from the late 1800's. As you can see from the pictures the case is in great condition with all the hinges working perfectly. The tools inside seem to be in pretty good condition with a few showing surface rust. The Velvet in the case seems to be in pretty good condition as well. The front of the case is stamped but I cannot make it out. This is a true rare find for any collector. ANTIQUE FRENCH VICTORIAN CARVED WOOD"EGG" SEWING ETUI Exquisitely carved treen sewing etui. Late 19th century. I do not know what the wood is, but it has a very fine grain, lustrous patina and the screw action is very smooth. It was almost certainly intended as a sewing etui, but in France these elaborate items were sometimes used to hold a rosary. It measures approximately 3 inches(8cm) high and is 1-3/4 inches(4cm) in diameter. Condition is excellent. Apart from a slight chip on the inside of the etui. Shipping: Well packed. This is a wooden Foot Form/ Sock Darner. It is in great condition. And there is a faint stamp still readable in part on the top of it. Please see the images for a closer look. The stamp on this one is not as clear as some others like it, but it was originally stamped"FOOT FORM Pat. NOV, 1907" I can still make out the word FOOT, and the 07, but not much else. I know what it says from looking at others like it. The condition is very good for a piece of this age. It was used to put into shoes to hold their shape. Antique Wood& Brass Sewing Tool Rug Hooking Needle This wonderful old tool dates to the late 1800s. There is a pointed. Curved needle on one section end with a large hole in it; the other section has a metal clip-type piece with a curved end. A metal(iron, I think) eyelet is affixed near the top of the section with the needle. To work the tool, the wood section(e.g. half) with the needle slides up and down. When down, the other side’s clip springs up. The wood looks like maple(not certain) and all the fittings except the eyelet are brass. A small patch of a paper label is still present on one side. The other side has a light water mark. And some darker spots near the bottom, shown in the photo. There are a couple of very small, light/ shallow marks(not really scratches) in the wood. Antique Large Solid Wood Sewing Clamp
This was a pin cushion clamp. But the pin cushion is now gone. It could be replaced with out much effort. This was a real working women's sewing clamp not a dainty one from a work box. I think the wood is mahogany. It is all from one piece of solid wood that was carved. The turning handle works and the piece is in very good condition. It measures a little over 5" long and5 1/2" high from the bottom of the screw handle to the top of the clamp. Thanks for looking
