This auction is for a very very old Apothecary jar marked P. Fer. Sulph. Label is under glass. Some chipping and repairs to the label. Jar and stopper in perfect condition. Stopper and top of jar are both ground. I believe the stopper is original. Neat and rare jar! Measures about 10" with lid and 9" without. Base measures 3 3/8" wide. APOTHECARY bottles JAR pharmacy LABEL under GLASS ground STOPPER
Up for bid are 13 bottles 4 of which have lost their labels. 9 are 6 1/2" tall(7" with stopper) 4 are 4 3/4" tall(5 1/4" with stopper) No chips or cracks to the bottles.The glass covering the labels is cracked or chipped on most which is common. I did not see any manufacturer marks. Nice shape considering their age. I have not and will not clean these as the labels and glass covering them are fragile. PLEASE look at the pictures as they are part of the description. I can add pictures of a certain bottle upon request. Previous owner: Albert J Bauer graduated from Pittsburgh Pharmacy school in 1943. Antique opium canister bottle apothecary pharmacy glass label glass stopper
This auction is for an antique opium bottle. About 8" h. It has a glass label which is broken off right around the"O" in opii. Label is extremely fragile and pieces flake off easily. There a few broken pieces I will include. Stopper appears to fit. However I don't know if it is original. Bottom of stopper looks as though it may have broken. Bottle appears hand blown, as there is a bubbly pontil( on the bottom(which is rough around the edges) but I'm not sure. Bottle has some scuff marks and bubble, but no cracks. I have not attempted to clean this. It is old and very cool but shows its age! Being sold as is, as found, please look at all pictures. I am not a collector or expert. PAT'D MARCH 6TH 1894- F& S- ST LOUIS MO. Are the bottom maker's marks, on this early-1900s, clear glass APOTHECARY JAR, with a"TR. VALERIAN" label-under-glass. I believe that the original drug formula was dried Rhizone + roots of Valerian. But I am not positive. ~ The 8-5/8" tall molded square bottle(made by Fay& Schueler) has a Tincture Top, and a ground-glass stopper, with 9 fingerprint indentations, at the top. ~ This old empty Apothecary Jar(aka Shop Furniture or Recess Ware) has NO chips or cracks, but the bottom end of the stopper is ROUGH. It has been cosmetically cleaned(inside and out) with warm water and dishwashing soap. But may require more scrubbing to meet your requirements. Some slight expected wear normal to an object that has been used in a working pharmacy. Some slight roughness around top inner rim of bottle as shown in photo; may be some old smoothing marks on outer edge of top rim; several expected tiny flecks on edges of stopper. Bottle is very clean inside; outstanding honey amber color overall. Firm fit between bottle and stopper. 8¼” tall.

Rare Brown Glass GERMAN Apothecary Pharmacy Novocain Bottle with Label & Stopper
Nice antique BROWN or AMBER glass bottle from a German medical office. I have a few interesting RARE bottles from this collection to list. This one is large and the label(in German) indicates it held procainum hydrochloridum(Novocaine) Bottle measures about 5" high(with the glass stopper in place) and the bottom is 2.75" wide and 2" deep(rectangular) The opening is approximately 1 inch. The Glass stopper fits tightly and still has the string tied holding it in place as it was when I acquired it. There is a strip of paper between the stopper and the bottle which I believe was used to indicate of any moisture. The attached paper label is shown in the pictures and somewhat faded. Below the label and on the opposite side of the bottle the number 280 is etched by hand into the glass. Bottom of bottle has raised marking: 150 X Good ... morecondition. No cracks or chips. Here is a 9 pc lot of antique drug store apothecary bottles with ground glass stoppers. In excellent antique condition. 9" tall with stoppers, mouths are 2-1/2" OD and 1-7/8" ID inside diameter. One with original label that shows wear, and dates these jars to the late 1800's. I have not cleaned these bottles, are not stained but have some have some traces of power inside, all bottles in great shape with with no cracks or chips, only one stopper is chipped- please see the many photos. I have 2 other listings of the exact same style of bottle but in 2 other sizes smaller and larger than these 9" And of course will combine any of my items if possible, to save on shipping costs.

Vintage drug pharmacy bottle"LUPULIN" Bottom of bottle PATD March 22nd 1892. It's 6 7/8" tall(including top) 2 1/8" square, front and back slightly bulged. The top has a grounded bottom with some chips, no other chips and it has 12 decorative round cutouts around diameter. The bottle has no chips does have a few bubbles in glass. This is an original bottle and hasn't been cleaned, still has some powder residue. The label is under glass and looks to be in pretty good condition. For your consideration are 2 Wonderful Estate found Apothecary Jars. One Stand 5 3/4" tall the small one is 2" tall. Both with ground stopper Tops. I see bubble in the larger bottles stopper and jar. The stopper has two indented areas that feel rough. You can see it in Photo 3. The larger one has a Latin Abbreviated drug name under glass. The smaller one appeared to have a sticker across the top of the stopper. Old residue can be seen in last photo. Embossed on the base of the small jar only T.C.W. co. Both Clean inside.
