Antique Etched Cut Glass Apothecary Bottle Ground Polished Pontil Dandaline
Up for auction is an antique 6" tall etched clear glass apothecary bottle and stopper. Etched in are the words de Dandaline. The bottom of the stopper is rough cut. The bottom base measures 2 1/2" while the top shoulder measures 1 3/4" The stopper is seamless like the bottle and sits a little low in the neck. I do not know if the stopper is original but they did come together from my great grandfathers estate who was a Detroit Corktown area pharmacist. Ships to the 48 Continental United States only.

This is a wonderful and Rare Late 19th Century Blown& Cut Ruby Red Glass Apothecary Bottle/ Jar with Original Stopper and Enameled& Gilt Decorated Label. It stands approximately 5-1/4" tall to the flat-top of the facet cut stopper. The shield shaped enameled label reads" KOUSSO D'ABISSIN: POLV: and is framed with gilt accents. The underside of the bottle shows the number'15' in script. Which is possibly the shelf location number. Both the bottle and stopper are blown and cut with facet panels. It is in beautiful estate condition with NO cracks. NO repairs, NO replacements, NO cloudiness and NO sickness. Here we have an amazing cased Ruby Glass Hand Blown Apothecary Jar with cut work motif. It is elegant and grand being aprox 6 1/2 pounds in weight. It stands aprox 19 inches tall to top of lid. I say Ruby cased as you can see at the base and lid where clear crystal is wrapped around Ruby. This is not a ruby stain. Please notice the fabulous cut point. This is another really cool pharmacy show globe from my personal collection. I bought it years ago from Charles Richardson. Author of THE PILL ROLLERS: APOTHECARY ANTIQUES AND DRUG STORE COLLECTIBLES. He called this"the poor man's showglobe. It is the top section and stopper of a multi tier show globe, for which a custom made wooden stand has been fashioned. The rest of this show globe has long been gone, probably broken by some irate, turn of the past centry, drugstore customer. As you can see in the pictures, the section is copper wheel etched with a floral design and has a plain glass stopper. CONDITION: looks to be an old glass repair on the lip of the bottle(see coloration difference in the photos) ring around neck of bottle is crudely applied and the stopper is clouded with a yellowish color. SHOW GLOBE, Apothecary Jar Bottle Decanter Antique, Vintage, Cut Glass, 13"
This listing is for a stunning show globe that measures 13" tall to the top of the stopper. It is cut with ovals in the body and the stopper. Along with panels on the neck and the connector and the edge of the pedestal base is cut also. The bottom of the base is polished and has honest wear. The globe is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or damage. The stopper is filled with a very large tear drop and has two flea bites to the very bottom of the shaft and two at the very top of the stopper. Please see all pictures. Your show globe will be very well packed and mailed via USPS Priority Mail. Insured with tracking. I mail to the contiguous 48 states only. No international shipping. 2 Vintage Apothecary Pharmacist Bottles Cut Glass Stoppers TCW Co Wheaton Glass
Up for auction are 2 apothecary/pharmaceutical bottles with cut glass stoppers. Made by T. C. Wheaton glass of Millville, NJ. Both bottles and one stopper are in perfect condition and one stopper has a small chip at its tip. The bottom of the bottles are inscribed T.C.W. Co. USA 2 and one has 3-L on the bottom also. This trademark was used starting in 1900 and up until 1960 by Wheaton Glass. Please see the photos to get a good idea of these items before you bid) Both bottles are approximately 6 3/4" tall with the stopper in place and the base has a diameter of 3 1/4" I do not know the exact age of these bottles but they have been around for a long time.
