It has very heavy glass and dates to early 1900's. It measures 14" high and the bottom is about 7.5" across. The lid is 8 sided and the bottom of the stopper is chipped and has several cracks. The lip of the bottle has some chips. The label says AQ. DEMINERALISAT. There are scratches on the label. Do not miss out on this unusual find. See last photo with a screwer lying across the seam. There is no stopper to this jar. The label is in relatively good condition if in fact it is over 100 years old. Again. I am not knowledgable on old medicine bottle. What I know is what I just learned to try and identify this bottle. We are offering for your bid an apothecary or pharmaceutical jar or bottle which held Tincture of Sanguinaria. Also known as Tincture of Blood Root. Blood Root is a North American flowering plant which produces a toxin to animals. This toxin is stored in the Rhizome or massive root area. American Indians used the sanguinary to aid respiratory problems. It was also used to remove warts and aid in the medical treatment of skin cancer. This bottle has a gold label under glass with black letters indicating the contents RT. SANGUIN. The bottle measures 9 3/8 inches to the top of the glass stopper. The bottle is free blown and there is a clearly visible ground pontil mark. The interior of the the neck has been ground as has the lower portion of the stopper which forms a tight closure. There are no mold lines on the body of the bottle. The stopper. ... moreHowever, has been blown into a 2 part mold. The condition is very good. There are some rough areas to the edge of the glass label and a very short crack beneath the rough area on the top right. The body of the bottle or jar is in very good condition with no chips or cracks. There is a ring of wear to the bottom showing that it was well used for distributing its medical contents. The stopper has a“bruise” area, but cannot be felt externally. This is a fine addition to any medical, apothecary, or bottle collection. We are selling without reserve.

The large one is label Pyrex on the bottom P-1 and it measures 6 3/4" tall and 3 1/4" in diameter and has a spout near the bottom of the jar. This one does not come with a stopper and has two small chips on the top rim. The second largest does come with a stopper and printed on the bottom is W C CO. This measures 6 1/2" tall and 2 1/4" in diameter. The third largest measures 5 5/8" tall and 2" in diameter. There are tiny chips on the stopper and one tiny chip on the rim. Vintage Milk Glass Bottle Jar Apothecary Medicine Drug Store Pharmacy 5'
Vintage 40's-50's old white milk glass jar/ bottle for your collection. These are the type of bottles that were found in pharmacies/ drug stores in America. This one has an old red and white label with the medicine Listerine written on it. Its molded top or lid is the screw-on model and is made of a hard white plastic. It is 5" tall and has a diameter at base of 2 1/2" The vintage bottle is pre-own and in great condition without chips. Or cracks. The only thing to consider is it will have to be washed to remove the old medicine residue that you may see on the rim of bottle.
