Large Green Apothecary Drug Store Candy Jar Antique Blown Glass Ground Lid
Large green blown glass apothecary- drug store jar. Measures almost 9" in height& 5.25" at it's widest. Jar is in very good vintage condition with no damage other than a few nicks on the base of the lid(see photo) which is not noticeable when lid is on. Lid rim& inside where it fits is ground. There are tiny air bubbles and waves through out the glass which is typical for the period. It has been in storage for years and I didn't bother cleaning it up after unwrapping so it will look a bit dusty. Lovely piece to look at and admire!

Has some use scratches, imperfections from the blowing process and I believe etching mistakes. There are a couple etchings that may be scratches but are the same depth as etching it looks like mistakes. There is a pontil that was sanded. It is still shiney when washed and the etchings clear. it measure 5" tall and 2 2/8" at mouth. The etchings show 1 ounce 2 ounce. The eqivalent 1 ounce equals 8 drachms. Two ounces equals 16 drachms. Antique Apothecary Jar and Lid for Ipecac, Hand-blown Glass, Italian circa 1900
This is a clean and clear leaded glass apothecary jar with a lid from Italy in excellent condition(Height: 8-3/4 inches est. with lid) Its vibrant label informs us that it was made to contain the roots of ipecac. The hand-blown glass of the jar was very well made with only a very few tiny bubbles or natural irregularities. The painted label is in three colors: gold. Black and light orange or orange/yellow. The un-threaded metallic lid is in two colors: red and the same light orange or yellow/orange color.

Very Large Antique Hand Blown Apothecary Bottle with Ground Glass Lid and Pontil Mark You are bidding on a Rare Early(circa 1870-1880) Large Antique Hand Blown Apothecary Bottle with Ground Glass Lid. It shows the pontil mark on the base indicating that it was handmade. The bottle measures about 17 ½” 445 mm) tall. It is about 7 ½ in diameter. It has some waviness form the blowing and turning during it making. The shoulders are nice and round and the neck transforms into a nice 3” diameter opening. It is relatively lightweight for its size attesting to the skill of the glass blower who made it. There is virtually no wear and the bottle is in excellent chip and crack free condition. There are some minor defect at the rim of the opening; but nothing that detracts from its beauty and form. See photos. Antique Vtg Hand Blown Glass Medical Apothecary Jar Bottle & Stopper Pontil Mark
Old 10" tall apothecary jar with ground stopper. Bottle is hand blown with large. Rough pontil mark in the base, which is kinda crazy with the glass being so thin. The stopper appears to be pressed glass and ground. No damage to the stopper or bottle, but the bottle does show very light surface wear. Looks great for its age.

Purchased at an estate auction: an antique blown glass apothecary/ pharmacy bottle. The pontil is unfinished and is elevated. The EXT. AURANTII label on the front exhibits some wear on the edges. The stopper and inside of the bottle neck is ground. I have not cleaned the 10" x 3 1/4" bottle. I note no chips or cracks. It weighs 1.32 pounds. SHIPPING WILL INCLUDE INSURANCE Check out my! Antique Blown Glass Purple Medicine Hair Lotion Cologne Apothecary Bottles Lot 3
Beautiful lot of three very old blown glass bottles. I believe these were used for cologne water or hair tonic as they are quite large. I have never found bottles like these before. They are quite unusual. The glass is a medium to dark purple. They appear to have hand applied bottle tops and maybe mold blown bottoms? There is one square bottle that measures 8.75" tall by 2.5" wide at the base. There is also a matching pair of bottles with really nice molded in designs at the top and bottom. They each measure 9.25" by 2.75" wide at the base. These bottles were dug and have never been cleaned. They do not have any chips or cracks and are damage free. I think you could wash them with CLR and they'd come completely clean like brand new if you want that look. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. Thank you!

ANTIQUE BLOWN CLEAR GLASS APOTHECARY BOTTLE w/ PONTIL MARK & ORIG. STOPPER 10" H
This is a wonderful 19th century Blown Clear Glass Apothecary Bottle with original Pressed Glass Stopper. It stands approximately 10" tall to the top of the stopper and the base measures approximately 3-3/8" in diameter. It is in beautiful estate condition with only very minimal signs of age appropriate wear. The clear blown glass bottle has NO chips. NO cracks, NO repairs and NO re-grinding. It shows only the production appropriate pontil scar, wear on the bottom and minor, faint interior sediment at the bottom. The original mold pressed stopper fits perfectly and shows only production period appropriate mold& bubble trace marks with very minor roughness on the interior collar, most likely from the molding and appropriate production grinding. There is one very, very tiny flake under the stopper edge which is nearly impossible ... moreto see or feel, but is mentioned for accuracy. This is a wonderful example of 19th century blown glass and it would be a welcomed addition to join a grouping of like bottles or to fill for a wonderful antique decorative accessory. Up for auction is a pretty standard antique apothecary(wide-mouthed) jar. The label isn't perfect but can be clearly read. It's PULV. CORIANDER.
