This auction is for one tall VINTAGE DAKOTA GLASS APOTHECARY CANDY DRUGSTORE JAR that measures 9.5" with the top on and 7.5" with the top off. The jar is 4 7/8" square. The jar is in very nice condition without any chips. Cracks, or repairs. There are some scratches and light use marks and there are bubbles and straw marks that naturally occurred in the glass while being made. None of these detract from the beauty of this jar or its usefulness. I have three other Dakota jars in other sizes on ebay. I will be happy to combine shipping. Email me with any questions.

This listing is for a square shaped apothecary gallon container. This circa 1900 pharmaceutical amber jug has seams on opposing sides and also in a circle at the base. There is a diamond shaped mold mark with a dot in the center as well as the number 5. This piece measures approximately 13 1/4" in height and has the original cork. It is in excellent condition without chips. Nicks or cracks. The cork is somewhat crumbly and I didn't remove to clean the inside which has light residue.

This large Jar is 13 1/4 inches tall and 5 3/8 inches around at it's widest. There are swirls visible in the glass I would guess from the molding process and a whitish discoloration on the outside. Glass Clear Square 9.5 inch Canister or Storage Jar. With a ground glass lid in the Dakota or Baby Thumbprint pattern. Both jar and lid are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or scratches. Please note in photos 4 and 5, on the lid are two tiny areas on the lid. I can't call these chips. I think they are bubbles from manufacturing that are causing rough spots. You be the judge. The canister measures 4 and 5/8 inches in diameter at the top, is 5 1/8 inches square at the base and stands 9 1/2 inches tall with lid. These square canisters are very hard to find. I am also listing the 6.5 inch canister that matches this one.

Vintage 13" Tall Square Apothecary Jar with Lid Drug Store Candy Glass
Hello Collectors, Thank you for stopping here to look. In this auction you will find a vintage Apothecary Drug Store Jar. The Jar and it's lid are clear glass. It is rectangle or a tall square in shape. The lid is round with notches around it to make it easy to grip onto. On one side there's a indented area in the center. This looks to be where a label would go. The size is 11" tall without the lid and 13" with the lid placed inside. Both the inside of the Jar and the Lid have been ground for a tight fit. There's no chips. Cracks, nicks, or repairs. It is clean and free of stains. Thank you again for looking.

Diameter top opening. The Ground Glass Stopper is approx. 3 in. Tall by itself. It has about a 2.5" diameter opening at top. The jars have a nice Starburst designed lid. They look great! May need a light cleaning. One of the jars seem to have a small amount of tape/glue from a label on one of the sides. Just needs to be cleaned off. Also one of the lids has a very tiny rough spot on the inside edge. We have here a Vintage Pair of Square Glass Apothecary Jars Store Display Candy Wedding Jars. They are matching. Four sided with the same daisy flower and bubble lid. One is 8" tall. The other just over 7 3/4" tall. The height difference is in the neck of the jar. They are 4 15/16" wide square jars with a two mold body and three panel mold lid. The inside of the jars are hand ground. Both are just a little rough to the touch. One lid has moderate chips on the inside lip of the lid. The other lid is only lightly rough to the touch on the outside edge. You can see the age in these pieces with the air bubbles and straw marks! Apothecary Square Tincture Jar w Thumbprint Glass Stopper Antique c1900 9" Tall
This listing is for an Antique Apothecary Tincture Style Jar or Druggist Bottle. The bottle is pressed glass with a narrow neck tincture style top. The bottle has a light glow under UV light. The narrow glass stopper is of the Dawes style thumbprint edged design and may not be original to the bottle but is a perfect fit. The stopper has a nearly Vaseline glass glow under UV light and is filled with fine air bubbles adding to it's natural beauty. The piece likely dates to the late 1800's or early 1900's. It's a fantastic piece of medical history. EAPG(Early American Pattern Glass) and a beautiful display piece. The jar measures 9" high with the stopper. 7 1/2" high without, 2 3/4" square at the base and weighs 1 lb 5.6 oz. The jar is free of chips. Cracks and fleabites including around the mouth. The stopper ... morehas some chips where it was cut from the stem during manufacturing, but no damage on the top, sides or where the stopper makes contact with the jar. There is grinding and etching where the stopper makes contact with the jar from manufacturing and age as expected. The bottom has light wear as expected from over 110 years of use and display. Up for auction is an Antique Glass Apothecary Jar with a Ground Stopper. The jar has a square body with a few tool marks on the shoulders where it was stretched. These jars could be found in candy stores and pharmacies during the early 20th century. The jar stands approximately 10 inches tall and is approximately 5 inches wide. The mouth of the jar measures at approximately 4 inches wide. There is a tiny knick on the rim of the lid but otherwise the jar is in very good condition.
