Nice Old LG Antique Amber Apothecary, Doctor, Medicine Bottle, Glass Stopper
Here's another old. Antique or vintage bottle from among the group we've been listing. This one seems to be an apothecary bottle of medium large size from somewhere in the early 1900' to perhaps 1930's would be our guess. It is an amber color with nice matching glass stopper. It is very clean and has no chips, cracks etc. to mention. We think this was more of an apothecary or doctor's supply type bottle versus being a decanter based on it's style and color. It is about 9 inches tall and 4.25 inches in diameter. There is an embossed glass mark on the bottom"8" and another one that appears to be an"M" or perhaps a"W" within a circle. That's about it. Antique German Huge Apothecary Amber Glass Jar Bottle Click on the thumbnails to view more photos This is the largest antique German amber glass apothecary jar I have ever seen. Found in Stuttgart. It has very heavy glass and dates to early 1900's. It measures 14" high and the bottom is about 7.5" across. The lid is 8 sided and the bottom of the stopper is chipped and has several cracks. The lip of the bottle has some chips. The label says AQ. DEMINERALISAT. There are scratches on the label. Do not miss out on this unusual find. Hello. This is a Obear Nester Glass Company Bottle from about 1915 to the 1950's by stlye. They were actually in business from 1894 to 1980. They started using this"N" within a square logo in 1915. This one is 7 3/4" Tall by a 3" Diameter and a 1" Diameter TOP LIP of the NECK. The stopper is in tack but has wear to it. I have not removed it because it is probably very fragile. We found this bottle half buried in an old ground floor basement in York. PA. Bottle is as you see it, stands 6" tall, 3" wide. A"do it all" type powder from the label. The original label could be glued down easily, but ill leave that up to the collector. Once tacked down, only very few words are torn away as seen in pic where im holding label to bottle. Lid is rusty and appears original. I didnt try to tske it off, though it looks to be some powder stuck to the sides inside. Sweet old medicine bottle! Buyer paysactual shipping that will be insured. Only thing that we see to even pick on is that we the cork stopper appears to be stuck in place. We have not been able to wiggle it out. No chips or cracks in glass. This is an antique 1880s era mouth blown amber crystal apothecary bottle in excellent condition. Most likely Bohemian/ Czech crystal. No chips or cracks. Few minute fleabites and some slight surface scratches on the bottom. Octagon cut neck and stopper. The stopper is ground and in great condition. Hand painted and gilded edge enamel label reads Ol. Rosmarin. Rosemary Oil is my guess. This bottle measures approx. 4.5" tall and is way more beautiful than what my camera captured. Should have washed this before photography! I am pleased to offer this Antique Amber OTIS CLAPP& SON Apothecary Medicine Bottle with Internally Threaded Glass Screw Stopper and gasket. This bottle is in excellent condition and stands 9 1/4" tall with the stopper in. The side of the bottle is embossed with the words"OTIS CLAPP& SON" The bottom is embossed with"M.B.W. MILLVILLE" and the glass stopper has an embossed emblem of Lions on each side of a shield with the words"OTIS CLAPP& SON" This bottle is a great example of the early 1900's advancement in bottle-making with internal threads for the glass screw stopper.thanks.

2 Antique Vintag Apothecary Medicine Amber Bottle Eli Lilly Pepsin Orig. Label +
The main bottle(with label Pepsin Eli Lilly) is very old. It had a cork stopper but has disintegrated due to age. On the bottom of this bottle is embossed 3 4-2 and a symbol that looks like the planet Jupiter. The bottle stands 7-7/8" tall& 2-1/2" diameter. Don't know the ounces it holds. It has 2 seams up the sides which indicates two molds. The second bottle is vintage and has no label. It holds 12oz which is embossed on the bottom. It is 6-1/2" tall& almost 3" wide. 2 Antique Apothecary Amber Medicine Glass Bottle Jar Ground Stopper Glass Label
For your consideration are 2 Wonderful Estate found Apothecary Jars. One Stand 5 3/4" tall the small one is 2" tall. Both with ground stopper Tops. I see bubble in the larger bottles stopper and jar. The stopper has two indented areas that feel rough. You can see it in Photo 3. The larger one has a Latin Abbreviated drug name under glass. The smaller one appeared to have a sticker across the top of the stopper. Old residue can be seen in last photo. Embossed on the base of the small jar only T.C.W. co. Both Clean inside. Previous owner placed some scotch tape around some of the ground glass stopper to protect it. I have left it in place. Glass has bubbles in it. Perfect for your apothecary Drug display. Antique apothecary jar in a very dark amber color. When I hold it up to the light I can see small air bubble throughout. This is the smoothest. Most highly polished bottle I had to sell. The label reads: Oil of Poppy and is painted on. The bottle with the stopper is approximately 8 1/4 inches by 4 inches.
