Antique German Huge Apothecary Amber Glass Jar Bottle Click on the thumbnails to view more photos This is the largest antique German amber glass apothecary jar I have ever seen. Found in Stuttgart. It has very heavy glass and dates to early 1900's. It measures 14" high and the bottom is about 7.5" across. The lid is 8 sided and the bottom of the stopper is chipped and has several cracks. The lip of the bottle has some chips. The label says AQ. DEMINERALISAT. There are scratches on the label. Do not miss out on this unusual find. Antique amber brown glass apothecary bottle with original cork stopper. Nice textured aged glass with gradations on side. Bottle stands approx 7 1/4" tall. About 2 3/4" diameter at base. Only thing that we see to even pick on is that we the cork stopper appears to be stuck in place. We have not been able to wiggle it out. No chips or cracks in glass.
