Up for auction is a collection of 6 brown or amber apothecary bottles or jars. Each bottle with stopper inside measures 4 1/i inches high. The stoppers measure 1 1/3 inch long. As you can see. There are 6 bottles and only 5 stoppers. I do not have the 6th stopper but you can use a cork or another stopper of your choice. All of the bottles are in excellent condition, however some of the outer points on the stoppers have a few nicks as seen in photos 7 and 8. Buyer is to pay for shipping which is $10.95. These are a set of 2 amber/brown bottles with glass stoppers that I got from a retired doctor. The tallest bottle measures approximately 5 1/4" tall and has raised letters on the bottom that read:T C CO USA 8 the smaller bottle measures approximately 5" tall and the bottom reads:T C W CO USA 2 They are in excellent condition for their age. Upon examination there may be a couple of teeny tiny nicks I am not even sure if they were there from manufacture or not. Nice collection of 8 vintage apothecary bottles from an estate. There are 4 squarish no-neck bottles that are 4.25 inches tall(shown in first 2 photos) One has a chipped rim. These do not have any markings. But imperfections in the glass make them appear to be very old. The next 4 are more traditional capped bottles. 4 different ones, shown in photos 3 and 4. Left to right: 1) 4 inch bottle with black metal cap. Cap has letter"C" on it. 2) 5.25 inch flask shaped bottle with glass and cork cap. no markings. Up for bid is a Lot of(3) Vintage brown/amber bottles. The first bottle is a 4 oz. Lysol Incorp. Bloomfield N.J. bottle. It stands 4 inches tall and 1 7/8 diameter. There are no chips/cracks. Bottle 2 is a 4 1/2 tall medicine bottle. It has no markings there are some bubbles in the glass from the manufacturing. Bottle 3 is also a small 3 1/4 tall brown/amber bottle. Also no markings. Antique Lot of Six Amber Brown Apothecary Bottles with Cork Top, with Contents
This is a lot of six small brown apothecary bottles. All but one has some of its original contents. Which are in all cases pills in various stages of decay. They all have a cork top. Also in various stages of condition and decay. Some appear to have been sealed with string or wax in addition to the cork. The smallest bottle measures 2.75" The largest 4.5" The bottles are in fair condition. With no chips or cracks. They would make an excellent foundation or addition to a vintage medical or bottle collection!

Great amber brown apothecary bottle. Has label with Romig Drug Company. Bottle is in great shape with no chips on the lip or the bottom. The bottom has writing for Armstrong Glass Co. as the maker which dates the bottle anywhere from 1939-mid 1960's. A great 14" tall bottle!
