Stopper, and full unused contents(dry powder) from the Parke, Davis and Company,Manufacturing Chemists, Detroit, MI. The label's have some stain, and minor damage but bottle has no chip or cracks. SEE ALL 12 PHOTOS) Wahoo was used in various ways by the North American Indians. For example as an eye lotion, as a poultice for facial sores and for gynaecological conditions. In current herbalism it is considered to be a gallbladder remedy with laxative and diuretic properties. The bark, however, is toxic and should only be used under professional supervision, it should not be given to pregnant women or nursing mothers. The stem and root bark is alterative, cardiac, cathartic, cholagogue, diuretic, expectorant, hepatic, laxative, ... morestimulant and tonic. The root bark is the part normally used, though bark from the stems is sometimes employed as a substitute. In small doses it stimulates the appetite, in larger doses it irritates the intestines[4] The bark is especially useful in the treatment of biliousness and liver disorders which follow or accompany fevers and for treating various skin disorders such as eczema which could arise from poor liver and gallbladder function. The bottle is about one quarter full and the cork is solidly in place. It stands 7 1/2" tall by 3" wide. Condition is good to very good. No chips, cracks. Some tiny paint dots that should scrape off. Noted dated anywhere, however my educated guess this is from the early 1900's( 1900-1910) as I have other bottles from the same time frame with same style and packaging. Contains approximately 2/3rds of its original contents. Cork is intact, but in pushed down into neck of bottle. Otter carton is damaged as shown in picture, bottle is in very good condition. A pamphlet is inside around bottle and is in perfect condition.

This little bottle is one of my favorites found in a old farmhouse in Cummington. Massachusetts. Just under 3 inches tall, it has a lot to offer: The cork. I believe original, is tightly settled into the neck of the bottle. I have never tried to remove it. The front label is securely attached. The print is clear. Imperfections are visible under a magnifying glass. The side label is unglued at the bottom but the label is intact. Tiny. Tiny bubbles can be seen in the glass if viewed under a magnifying glass. The bottom of the bottle is embossed"PD& CO 466" I enjoy the overall presentation of this antique little brown bottle and would say it is very good/excellent.
