Up for bids is a beautiful and unique mold blown bo ttle. It has 25 deep horizontal rib s. A flared lip and no visible seams. I was told it's a poison bottle- unsure of what is what used for. Ground stopper and neck along with great pontil on base. I cleaned it out the best I could. Although still some residue and condensation in the grooves and on the bottom. Otherwise, this bottle is in EXCELLENT CONDITION. There is a VERY SMALL chip on the lip as seen in pictures. Antique Etched Cut Glass Apothecary Bottle Ground Polished Pontil Dandaline
Up for auction is an antique 6" tall etched clear glass apothecary bottle and stopper. Etched in are the words de Dandaline. The bottom of the stopper is rough cut. The bottom base measures 2 1/2" while the top shoulder measures 1 3/4" The stopper is seamless like the bottle and sits a little low in the neck. I do not know if the stopper is original but they did come together from my great grandfathers estate who was a Detroit Corktown area pharmacist. Ships to the 48 Continental United States only.

An estate find comes this really beautiful cobalt blue apothecary jar measuring 11" high with lid in place x 5-1/4" in diameter. The apothecary jar has no chips. Cracks, scratches or repairs, but does have a couple of manufacturing flaws on the lip of the jar which do not affect its integrity. In fact, I think these give it even more character! Here you have a nice jar with a ground glass lid that fits snuggly into the bottle. It has five ships painted/on it in black. They are: Bon Homme Richard 1779; Flying Cloud 1849; U. S. 7" Apothecary Bottle BIM blown in mold, ground pontil, ground-glass stopper
This antique apothecary bottle is 7 1/4" high not counting the stopper and 2 1/2" square. It has an indented rectangular area for a label. Nice condition overall. There are some slight imperfections in the glass including a long bubble inside the neck. There's also some minor discoloration from residue. Which I didn't try to clean out.

Antique apothecary or chemist reagent bottle with ground glass stopper
This reagent bottle bears the label"Gum Traganc" an abbreviation for the ingredient gum tragacanth. Gum tragacanth was a commonly used pharmaceutical and chemical product which is still used today. It is even used in some foods. This bottle came from a pharmacy where compounding ingredients using this item was common. Ground glass stoppers were used in the best vintage bottles as they were the best insurance against contaminants entering the container. This bottle is in perfect condition. There are no cracks or chips in either the bottle or the ground glass stopper.

RARE --- Apothecary Bottle with Ground Glass DOMED LID & Penny Head Stopper
RARE Vintage/Antique–Apothecary Bottles with Ground Glass Domed Lid and Penny Head Stopper A very uncommon and unusual ground glass bottle with a ground glass domed lid giving a complete seal around a ground glass penny head stopper. Last one remaining in my collection) Large bottle is Approximately 2 ¾ inches wide and 7 3/8 inches tall. Small bottle is Approximately 1 5/8 inches wide and 4 1/4 inches tall. Still contains the factory paper in the stopper hole to prevent sticking. These bottles look extra good to me with the only defect being a small chip in the domed lid of the large bottle(which is well documented in the photos) No markings on the large bottle. The small bottle has the following on the bottom: T.C.W. CO. 11 U.S.A. These bottles are heavy and definitely watch worthy as they would be great in a collection or a very cool ... moredecoration. Very Large Antique Hand Blown Apothecary Bottle with Ground Glass Lid and Pontil Mark You are bidding on a Rare Early(circa 1870-1880) Large Antique Hand Blown Apothecary Bottle with Ground Glass Lid. It shows the pontil mark on the base indicating that it was handmade. The bottle measures about 17 ½” 445 mm) tall. It is about 7 ½ in diameter. It has some waviness form the blowing and turning during it making. The shoulders are nice and round and the neck transforms into a nice 3” diameter opening. It is relatively lightweight for its size attesting to the skill of the glass blower who made it. There is virtually no wear and the bottle is in excellent chip and crack free condition. There are some minor defect at the rim of the opening; but nothing that detracts from its beauty and form. See photos. Apothecary Hospital Chemical Glass Bottle Ground Neck & Stopper Open Pontil Scar
This is a nice old hand-blown Apothecary Bottle with ground glass neck and stopper and open pontil base. It likely dates to late 1800's and is 8-3/4" high(9-3/4" w/ stopper) x 3-3/8" wide at base& 3-1/2" at shoulder. This antique bottle is has wavy streaks& ripple marks in the glass and no trace of a mold seam. The open pontil scar is very jagged. The stopper has two mold seams. This is a very interesting. Antique, amber glass, apothecary bottle. It is marked with which looks like an applique piece of porcelain. Tubera Salep. The piece measures almost 4.50" tall(including the top) and has a base diameter of 2" It has a ground glass top with a semi finished pontil. The bottle is marked 125 in raised numbers and etched with the number 5& 42. There are several bubbles encased in the glass. It is in very good antique condition. Here is a large lot of 26 antique apothecary drug store bottles of clear glass with ground glass stoppers. From the late 1800's. And actually from a drug store, an estate sale where these were passed along for decades, from the grandfather who owned a drug store. 3 large bottles 10" tall, 18 medium bottles 9" tall, and 5 smaller at 7" tall, all with their ground glass stoppers. All but part of one label are long gone, 18 bottles are in excellent shape with no cracks or chips, the ones with chips- 1 large, 2 medium, and 5 small. And uncleaned but in very nice shape with virtually no staining- unusual for old apothecary bottles. Will be carefully wrapped and double boxed to insure damage free shipment.

Here is a 5 pc lot of antique drug store apothecary bottles with ground glass stoppers from the late 1800's. Are 7" tall with stoppers, mouths are 2-1/8" OD and 1-1/2" ID inside diameter, and some stoppers fit better on some bottles than others. I have not cleaned these bottles, are not stained but have some have some traces of power inside, the bottles show some chips on top rims and some chips on stoppers- please see the many photos. Circa 1870s, that was rescued from the basement of a family-owned Brooklyn pharmacy established in 1875. It is 9 1/2" high to the top of the ground glass stopper by 2 3/4" wide. The bottle is crystal clear with a ground glass stopped The bottle and stopper are in excellent condition. see photo below) The thumbprint top was made wth a large bubble of air in the center section, and the indents are sharply cut.
