The drawers are very clean inside. This secretary was manufactured in January. 1980 and is in excellent condition overall with a few exceptions. There are light dings and one more noticeable ding on the front of the secretary where it drops down(see pics#10, 11) There are also a few tiny chips low on the front two feet and one chip on the very back side of the secretary top. It is not very noticeable when it is against the wall, unless you are looking at the back(see pic#12) The Ethan Allen name is stamped in the top drawer and the date as well as the item number are stamped on the back.
