Two very small chips to the lid rim, a tiny chip to the ledge beneath the top rim. The head was broken off of the bird figurine atop the lid(and was missing) reconstructed by our conservator. Underside of pedestal was heavily chipped on one side, causing the jar to lean. Additional material added to underside of jar by conservator. Otherwise just the minor bumps and bruises consistent with prolonged burial in the earth. The normal potting blemishes associated with hand production. Includes the original lid.
