Very nice pre-Columbian anthropomorphic spout vessel from Colima. West Mexico. Circa 100 BC-500 AD. Depicts a seated shaman figure with hands on knees. Pierced ears. Nicely burnished brown surface with light mineral deposits and a moderate amount of root marks over the entire surface. Overall good condition. Small surface chip on nose and ear. Restored chip to back of the shaman's crest and restoration to spout. Appear to have been professionally done. See pics. The vessel is over 10" tall 6" wide. Guaranteed as described.
