This ancient pre-Columbian pottery snake is an artifact that’s from Central Mexico. The intricate scale carvings and details on the snake's body are a ... moretestament to the skill of the Aztec craftsmen who created it. The snake is made of solid clay and has a black color, which adds to its beauty. As shown, the snakes upper jaw is missing and the entire head has been cemented together. Otherwise in good condition for its size. This piece has been in my personal collection since the late 1960’s. Dimensions:Approx. 9 1/2 inch diameter and 4 1/2 inches highBody thickness: approx. 1 1/4 inches at tail end increasing to approx. 2 inches.

Pre-Columbian Clay Head of Aztec Burial Piece
Pre-Columbian Head of Aztec Here we go. I bought this head in the early 1970s from New England Rare Coin Gallery. I think I paid $25 or $29. So. I had this thing now for over 35 years now. Wife hates it, but I had this thing longer than my wife! This stands 33mm tall. And its width is 35mm. I tried mounting it once using hot glue, remnants remain. I painted it gold many moons ago. In addition, I filed the side of its head(see photo with horizontal file scrape marks) So, this head is no longer a spring chick. However, it is kosher and not the modern junk you find today listed elsewhere. I don't know if this head represents Aztec, but his profile sure resembles one. But then again, it looks like a cat, too. You figure. Pre-Columbian Mexico AZTEC ALIEN-LIKE Clay Figure Head !
SquareTrade © AP6.0 Here's a very odd Pre-Columbian AZTEC TEOTIHUACAN"ALIEN-LIKE" HUMAN? FIGURE HEAD(ca. 700-1100 AD) from near the famous Teotihuacan Pyramids in Mexico's Central Highlands. It's 1 5/8 in. 4.2cm) high. 1 5/8 in. 4.2cm) wide and 3/4 in. 2.0cm) thick. It has oddly defined features which look much like those of the alien creatures often associated with the so-called flying saucer crash in"Area 51" in Nevada many years ago. Is it possible aliens from another world visited the Aztecs many years ago? Not likely, but I must admit this is one of the strangest clay figure heads I've handled in the past 60 years! I'll let the buyer be the judge. These heads were once on full human clay figures but were broken off and cast into the fields to ensure crop fertility. It's made of fired reddish/tan ... moreclay and in fair condition. My Feedback Profile and eBay preferred seller reputation attest to my integrity and honesty. The authenticity of my artifacts and relics is guaranteed for life, OR YOUR MONEY BACK! Buyer pays $3.00 S/H. Shipping charges to foreign buyers may be greater. No reserve. Good luck!

PRECOLUMBIAN PRE-COLUMBIAN INCA MOCHE CHIMU AZTEC MAYAN ANCIENT PERUVIAN #3
Beyond stating that it is Mayan and genuine. I am not sure what function this apparently complete feline head would have served(if any- possibly just a votive talisman- Note the Fangs! PRECOLUMBIAN PRE-COLUMBIAN INCA MOCHE CHIMU AZTEC MAYAN ANCIENT PERUVIAN #2
This marvelous head was most probably placed over a second figure and worn as a"helmet" or a mask. This approach occurs on many Vera Cruz and Mayan pieces. Often associated with warriors or ball game figures. My guess is that this piece is most likely Vera Cruz. As noted, it is complete in itself and retains traces of both white and red pigment. One small apparent loss to the headband/headdress. The piece measures just over 2-1/2" in height. Shipping and handling in the US is $15; overseas will vary. As with every item I sell, authenticity is absolutely guaranteed. PLEASE NOTE: I SELL AND SHIP WORLDWIDE
PRECOLUMBIAN PRE-COLUMBIAN INCA MOCHE CHIMU AZTEC MAYAN ANCIENT PERUVIAN #1
This fragment captures the typical aristocratic facial profile that is characteristic of classic Mayan pottery. It is free of any restoration and measures just under 3" in height. The closed eyes are generally interpreted to mean that the figure is in a trance. Shipping and handling in the US is $15; overseas will vary. As with every item I sell. Authenticity is absolutely guaranteed. PLEASE NOTE: I SELL AND SHIP WORLDWIDE

I am not sure what culture they belong to; but by the Looks of some ... moreof their Faces. I would suspect them to be Pre- Columbian Smurfs: I had to smuggle them out of Mexico; hidden in a spare tire. The Federally check point missed them; even though they Totally Tore Apart My Car. I do not believe them to be Thousands or even Hundreds of years old Artifacts; But. I did not want to take a chance. Most Likely they are replicas made by the Farmer. I have included pictures of the place where they were supposedly found. They would make EXCELLENT Garden accessories; or even display pieces in ones Study. They are made of some kind of Stone(like Sandstone) or an Anthropic Rock. There are no Chips or Cracks. The white markings you see on them are discolorations. The Pictures were taken in California in 2007; and they have been stored away ever since. There is no combined shipping. As EACH will need its own Large Flat Rate Box because of their Size. Any other Questions Please ask.

Pre-columbian Bead Lot Mayan Inca Aztec Peru Bird Human Effigies Gold ? Turquois
A very interesting collection of beads brought from Peru by a missionary in the early 1950's. I am not sure what age or time period they would be from. The stone beads appear to be from several different materials. The large ones are possibly turquoise or jade. The gold beads and effigies are of stamped metal. It's possible they have some gold content or are gold washed. As they show little signs of tarnish. I counted well over 300 beads total. The strand measures about 15" long. The face effigy measures 0.95" by 1.36" Please view our other auctions being listed over the next few days. We will be dispersing many artifacts from several recent collection acquisitions. Aztec modern sculpture of a Cihuateteo or spirit Woman. Sculpted out of a light green-brown very hard stone from Guerrero Mexico, the sculpture is got a medium polish with Well defined features, very unique! Please read about Cihuateteo. In the Mesoamerican cosmovision. The Cihuateteo were mortal women that died in childbirth. Were deified, journeyed with the sun from noon to dusk, and then took up residence in the heavenly region called Cihuatlampa in the Western sky. These goddesses appeared as regents of the West in the codices in the 260-day ritual calendar. They descended to earth every 52 days and were venerated in large temples and small neighborhood shrines built at the crossroads. The Cihuateteo’s mortal bodies were considered so powerful that warriors would attempt to take part as a talisman. Height: 8" Width: 4" Depth ... more3 7/8"
3 Pre Columbian? Pottery S. America-Mexico, Aztec, Mayan God/Idol stone Statues
These are very nice pieces of art from Mexico or S. America. They might be pre-Columbian. I'm not an expert. But I purchased these statues from a high-end estates sale where some very nice ancient art was being sold. Must have been a collector. The middle piece(the tallest) is right under 9 inches tall. The one with the broken leg is also about the same hight. The shortest one is seven inches tall. There are some minor chips and discoloration on all pieces(see photos) But all in all, they are in great condition considering their age. They will be carefully packaged to insure no breakage. They are awesome pieces for the collector. I held on to these pieces not wanting to sell them because the were so different and unique, but they should go to someone who knows their worth and appreciate them.
